TA 382: Ayu has to undergo emergency surgery

aww man this year really is not the best of years for ayu. Just before the end of year performances which is considered huge, she had an bad accident and ayu should rest up recovering herself properly and I also think that she works too hard for her own good. I truly hope she will recover and also the most important thing rest properly!!!!

She fell down the stairs? Well, at least she didn't end up with a broken leg or even worse, spinal injuries.

Was she still conscious after she fell down the stairs? I guess someone was there in her apartment with her so she could get immediate attention. I think I read somewhere that her whole apartment has a pillow-like material covering the floors, so it sinks down when you step on it or something lol. Maybe that softened the fall for her. I hope that was the case. Her stairs must have still been wooden or carpeted. She really has a small frame and it's as fragile as it seems. Not enough muscle or fat to help her out with the impact. She fell at an awkward angle too maybe? Painful :$.

I think Kouhaku won't be a big problem, she can make a big-dress-MW, where she doesnt move that much and she can use a headmic

Rehearsals are starting for that so we'll know very soon. Worse comes to worse, she can use a headset mic to sing Mirrorcle World. I don't think she absolutely needs to hold a microphone and it might actually be easier on her overall. In the end, as the opening act, I don't think she'll turn away from her responsibility to put on such a good show especially because she was chosen so the show could open in a special way. I'm sure she thinks she disappointed many fans by not attending MSSL...something tells me she'll do her absolute best to make it to Kouhaku, which is probably the biggest and most renowned end-of-the-year music show in Japan.

この１０周年という１年間は、最後の最後まで、たくさんの試練の
連続なのだなぁと、改めて感じています。

でもきっと全て、神様が、今この１０年目にして、あえて幾つもの
試練を私に与えて下さっていて、逃げずに向き合い、これらを全て
乗り越えられたら、その先には綺麗に広がる空がある、、、そんな
事を教えられているような気がしています。
もっと、もっと、強く、優しくなれる、と。

手術は、、、とてもこわかった。
でも、麻酔を打って、効き始めるまでの間、番長が私の手をぎゅっと
握っててくれてたんだ。
それはそれは、心強いものでした。

それからどの位の時間が経ったのかはハッキリ解らないけれど、
気付くと麻酔が切れていて、だんだん激しい痛みが襲ってきたけれ
ど、執刀して下さった先生が笑顔で「もう大丈夫ですよ」と言って下
さった瞬間、張りつめてた気持ちが一気に緩んで泣き出しそうに
なってしまいました。

Wow! shes injured but she still wrote? how, man shes realy something I would'nt expect any one to write after the injury but nothing stops this woman lol but she will have to stop and just rest for the 3 weeks, her injury I feel is even more severe but Im sure she doesnt want to worry the fans.

Miss Hamasaki I hope you get better soon and get back to your normal work and please dont blame your self. You've done more then enough for the fans and I think we all can respect your decision for cancelling the shows. I know you dont want to but for you to rest will be a key. I havn't seen any of your live shows but whats the point if your injured. 歌手の浜崎あゆみが２６日夜に予定したテレビ朝日「ミュージック・ステーション・スーパーライブ」の生出演 を取りやめた。右手に大ケガを負い、全治３週間と診断されたという。この日は、１０回目の出場を決めている ＮＨＫ「紅白歌合戦」の曲順発表があり、トップバッターで歌うことが発表された。ただ、浜崎は「マイクを持 てない」としており、ＮＨＫは“代役案”も含めて検討する。

　紅白本番まであと４日。前代未聞のトップバッター不在という事態が起こる可能性も出てきた。

　所属するエイベックスによると、浜崎はクリスマスイブの２４日に自宅の階段で貧血を起こして転落。その際 に右手を負傷し、翌２５日に手術を受けた。ケガの詳しい内容は明かしていない。浜崎は２６日に自身のブログ で「マイクを持つことすらできない状態」と説明。貧血は過労が原因で、医師から全治３週間と診断されたとい う。

she fell from the stairs on 24th, but she went for the surgery on 25th. in the articles above, they seem to say that ayu might not be able to perform for kouhaku.
