Days is amazing!

I just have to express my appreciation or Days. I saw a few-seconds clip of the PV in someone's post (of Ayu crying at the end) and immediately it just brought back the PV and how amazing it is. I mean, compared to her recent PVs, it's just one of the best in my opinion. And the song is amazing as well! It's beautiful and moving, but without sounding like a generic sad song. And it's also perfect for the upcoming season!

I just felt a sudden need to express my love for Days. 1: (I can totally get why it was voted as no.1 Ayu song by the Japanese fans!)

^ See I just totally hated You were... - I think it has nothing on Days. Can't even compare (imo). I think maybe people say it's "generic" or "boring" because you know where the song is going. There isn't much of a mystery sounding the structure of the song, the composition, the melody. But that's what I love. It seems like it was composed perfectly, simply, effortlessly but actually with a lot of effort... if that makes sense. It just feels to me everything for this song worked in its favor. I prefer something like this over HEAVEN or something more boring like that (sorry HEAVEN fans). See also "Virgin Road"

HEAVEN is ok - I love love LOVE the piano version from the slideshow on the DVD. I listen to it a lot. But it was just so "hyped" as being the best ballad and rivaling "My Heart Will Go On" as far as power and epicness goes and I just find it kind of a letdown and a snoozefest. Lol. Endless Sorrow is an EPIC ballad - much more so than HEAVEN.

But yeah, Virgin Road I really dislike because the chorus is just... not good.

TOTALLY. Like the original mix was kinda bittersweet and cute sounding but the AOV makes it sound so melancholic and heartbreaking... <3

For me, I prefer the original mix by far.
The remix sucks.

Days is one of her best ballads for me. Probably because I related to it so much when it came out! I even wrote the lyrics on a card I made for this guy I had a crush on LOL. It didn't work out, but I found someone much better anyway I'm pretty sure I'M his Days crush!
