Oricon’s favourite artist ranking for 2012

Oricon’s print magazine ‘Only Star‘ recently conducted a survey asking 20,000 people on who their favorite artist was.

Coming in first place for Oricon’s 9th “Favorite Artist Ranking” was none other than ARASHI. This marks the group’s third consecutive year to top the ranking. Aside from music, ARASHI has been active in dramas, varieties, and CMs. They will also be hosting the upcoming ‘NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen‘ for the third year in a row.

At least B'z is still up there! But, I kind of wish that Namie, YUI, and Porno Graffitti were ranked a little higher. :\ I also wish that Koda Kumi was ranked...

Almost in every poll that has been conducted , bias will set in so it's no big deal really

Even though I don't see a lot of my fave artistes being singled out in this poll , it doesn't mean I'm going to cry me a river

There's more to life than just a poll being done for the sake of doing
