What do you think?

My opinion - the starting is soothing and the chorus is good - can pick up easily.
The ending.. well not that appealing compared to the intro and chorus.

I really hope masa can translate the song//

hmmm...indeed it sounds refreshing as compared to her past songs...kind of short compared to her usual songs...and the ending part a bit weird...she is using "YEA YEA" in the song again...lol

Exactly what I've been saying all along
And I still stand by that after hearing the full version.
It kind of sounds like a mix of 'winding road' and 'Hope or Pain' (which is not a bad thing).
But anyways, I really liked it after I heard it a second time. It's refreshing and kind of like a blast from the past. Don't get me wrong; I've loved all of Ayu's recent works, it's just this is something we haven't heard in awhile.

I also thought about "MY STORY". "Life" has a similar feel to "winding road" and "untitled ~for her~" (some parts of the arrangement remind me of the later). It sounds very much like spring. <3 I sure need some more listens to fully judge it, but I really like the bridge so far. It's been some time since she released such a calm song on a single.

Ooh, I totally agree! ^__^ The electronic-ish sounds in the background of the verses remind me a lot of the beginning of untitled ~for her~, kind of nostalgic~

Also, I LOVE the melody to this song! And the emotion in Ayu's voice and stuff ^__^ It's just really relaxing, a nice change after the fast-paced songs on GUILTY~

Im think Life really sounds like winding road and i like both of them. It has a ''gentle mood'' to it i would get it a 7.8 out of ten.

very refreshing... gets me soooooooooooooooooooo nostalgic. its that old-school ayu sound. it makes me flashback at my life, the people i've come across, those who never came back, those who left us behind... it's that kind of song... i could only listen to it every now and then. it gets rather boring... and makes me lose interest in doing anything but just lay down and think of life

I really have to agree with you about the song. It also makes me think of those who I've left behind. I know I'm going to sound like a loser for saying this but the song made me cry.

If it makes you feel any better, i tear up when i see her come on stage watching her arena tours XD
