Tell me why from Party Queen = cover song?
It seems that Tell me why is a cover song originally recorded by a Greek artist, Ivi Adamou, a contestant from X Factor.

o.O it's one of those songs from PQ that I'm highly expecting... I hope that there's no infringement here... But from listening to the original song, I think it's a really nice song.

This is like, the one song I actually can't wait for.

If there's infringement, shame on them, but...I'll still listen to the song and not care lol

If they don't give credit, it probably is one of those situations where, the rights to the song are sold in different countries...like TVXQ's Mirotic.

But shouldn't we have known of cover songs by now? If it's an official cover. Anyway, it actually makes me want to go listen to that girl.

why? Memorial adress and loads of Sweetbox covers are amazing, so why to bother? Marcus Collins just realesed his first single which is... cover of a cover. And it didn't stopped me from loving it...

I know, but the "new"-feeling is gone then. Still it doesnt matter. Tell Me Why sounds really beautiful, so thats something less to bother about.

It's not, it's a cover of the original by The White Stripes. Other people have sung it, but he's still covering the original song.

I wonder how this song will be credited in the booklet, will be interesting seeing all these new names considering it's usually the same 3/4.

I kind of like the original version more than what we have of Ayu's.... oops

There isn't any infringement. Do you think a huge music company like avex even bother with a lawsuit? They have the money, they bought the song. It's not like they're not one of the biggest music companies in Japan

avex is actually the world's biggest independent music label, the 5th biggest overall so...yeah lol

It's an indie track that was released on a single on February 10th, 2003, a little less than a year before Memorial address.

You can find it on Amazon.jp for insane prices.
