BRILLANTE now, feelings?

So most of here (I'm pretty sure that is accurate) when we first heard/saw BRILLANTE we thought it was brilliant and one of her best songs to date. How do you feel about it now that it's in the "older stuff" pile now that Party queen is out?

I was looking at picture of Timmy and it started playing in my head, added it to my Kindle Fire today on the spot I still love it to death, brilliant!!!

I actually like it more now. I thought it was great at first but didn't quite get the same reaction as some people lol. But idk I really really love the song and love it much more these days. I especially like the arrangement. It's still good stuff.

It was briefly my second favorite Ayumi track. Now I'm not sure if it's at #2 or #3. Love it.

Don't listen to it as much as i used to but i still think it's an awesome song.

I have not listened to FIVE in ages. However, BRILLANTE still is acceptable.

I made my own epic Ayumi playlist, and BRILLANTE is track 1. I love that song, always had. I think it's one of her most 'avant-garde' tracks, as how I like to call it.

I still love it as much as the first time I listened to it. Though I don't play it as often as when it was released, I still listen to it once in a while.

Still a good song. It's one of those songs I feel "hopeful" about when I listen to it, considering it wasn't that long ago. I think "hey, something like this can still happen in the future. She can still make great songs like this."

^ ya agree! it's definitely an amazing song and i'm confident she'll be able to make songs like those again since it's such a recent track

The only thing that has changed for me, is my opinion of Timmy since I first heard BRILLANTE. After that song, I really liked what he did with it, and looked forward to more of his works. But after PQ, I'm not looking forward to Timmy-influenced songs anymore.

I still love BRILLANTE to death, and love what Timmy did with it. It always reminds me a bit of Sephiroth music from Final Fantasy 7.

It's a song that can easily get boring if you listen to it million times.. At first I thought it was her best song ever, but now I've realized that her other epic songs have a longer "life span" , like MW never gets boring to me.
But besides that BRILLANTE is a very good song. It still gives me chills

Still a song that no other artist in Japan could ever produce. Perhaps even the world. It literally gives you that other-worldly feeling. Definitely a present-day masterpiece.

I still love it. I actually appreciate it more over time. I feel she put a lot of emotion into this song. It's about as emotionally intense to me as classics like I am... and Duty.
