i had to make this thread because i was eager to voice how dumb and pointless they all were LOL
for such good songs you think theyd have had more meat to the bone, each pv could have had it all summed up in maybe 30 sec

I actually quite like the PVs, Sweet scar my favorite among the 3, of course.
the other two, wake me up and snowy kiss, another trilogy along side with You &Me just liked last angel, love song and virgin road trilogy but with different storylines. I think the execution of LA, LS and VR story lines and directing are much better than WMU, SK and Y&M.

WMU and SK storylines are very common lovey dovey/break up PVs, but for ayu, it's her first time to have such PVs, so i think it's kinda refreshing. I like snowy kiss more though ,but the repetitive violence fighting scenes are really too much LOL, what i like is how they reconnected some scenes from Y&M.

Sweet Scar, is very simple but it's really good. ayu is so beautiful in the PV. her hair, her natural look just look perfect. when she looks at the camera, i just got goosebump.

so Sweet Scar > snowy kiss > wake me up

Wow.... That's low, even for you. I mean, that's REALLY low. I can't even BEGIN to fathom on the reason why you would go as far as to trash ayu and her relationship to call it fake. I wouldn't use the word garbage. But I agree with you the way Ayu had been lying to us lately makes me very sad. That relationship with Mannie looks like it was all a lie and now this one with Maro looks the same way. Sadly Japanese fans lost the respect they have for her. Nobody likes to be lie to. You can say ayu can do whatever she wants is her life. Then Japanese people will do whatever they want and not buy her music. I'm worry for Ayu. Before when I used to read saigodansu's post I would say he is overreacting or there he goes again talking about a publicity stunt. But now is not just him is him and the Japanese fans too.

I really liked Sweet Scar, she looked so beautiful, and the pv was clean and nice. Especially when she stared to the camera I got chills!

For Wake Me Up and Snowy Kiss I didn't really get it. Suddenly there is a threesome love, then there is a fight. Too many open question: why, what and especially who is that guy. The Love Songs and vogue-faraway-seasons had a flow, and I missed that in this trilogy. However, especially Snowy Kiss got my attention. So much was going on in there.

I believe Ayu is slowly killing her idol image little by little since Five... Actually, I remebering posting that IMO the album was an open letter to her fanbase anouncing that things were going to change.

As a consequence, her latest releases are anything but safe... Party queen is at some points far darker and more personal than her past albums... She is openly supporting minorities now (and not only gays) and lately she is having a far more "human" image, instead of the jpop diva we are used to.

I don't think the triology has anything to do with her personal life TBH... It for sure is something that goes totally against her usual image... Both for being way too natural and way more agressive on a relatable way than what people expect from her. And maybe this was actually planned during the same state of mind the actual AT12 was, and that's why it portray a failed relationship.

With all of this in mind, it's actually beliveable that she hasn't planned to announce her relationship with Maro... Cuz it's not like again is saying they are a couple... they are most portraying a failed relationship on the project.

And I believe she used Maro on both the videos and the photos because he both has a more common look than Shuya and because as a couple, they have multual trust and chemistry to work though both the romantic and agressive scenes.

i thought it would disappoint me but they were nice to watch. im not someone who gets hooked onto PVs unless their crazy amazing like Microphone and SLT..but i dont want to compare works either coz thats pointless...judge the work for what it is, so yea. I think Sweet scar is beautiful yet simple though..it works great

yea, i also understand this trilogy more than the love songs ones but of coz i like the mystery of it.
after rewatching wake me up and snowy kiss, i think the songs flow well with the videos.
though i don't really think wake me up lyric is match to the video.
