Securing Concert Tickets for Ayu's Upcoming Tour

I already requested off the last week of July to go to Japan for the last date of the 15th anniversary tour, but the thing that I'm most worried about is getting tickets.

I have been talking with my friend TeamAyu2004 who will be living in Japan starting at the end of March.

I just read in another thread that tickets are going on sale on February 8th. I REALLY want to secure tickets, and the best seats possible, for the last date.

Could someone be kind enough to talk to me about it? I'm just worried that I'll spend almost $5000 for two people to get to Japan and we won't have ayu tickets. And YES I read the tutorial on the(miss) understood tour, but that was seven years ago and I'm paranoid.

Thanks for your help guys!

xx

Are you telling me that ALL the seats go to TeamAyu members?
Somehow I know this isn't true, but...

I've heard of reseller shops but I don't know how reliable they are, and this needs to be definite.

Would any member of TeamAyu be kind enough to buy me tickets if I forward them money?

No, TeamAyu get first dibs on the tickets and then whatever is left over goes on sales to the general public later but you still need someone in Japan to help you if you don't want to go the reseller route.

Not sure if it works the same for TeamAyu but for my case being in BREAKERZ's fanclub , team brz will set aside a portion of tickets to be allocated to team brz members for them to ballot & then the reminding seats whatever that's left , that will go on sale for the general public to purchase are usually the crappy / leftover seats

It's generally assumed that being in the fanclub , the priority in getting good seats is much higher than a non fanclub member

As I'm not living in Japan , I had to ask my middleman to take care of such matters . Celga was the 1 that was doing it on my behalf but I found them really slow/inefficient/downright ineffective which was super meh >_>

upon the recommendation of a friend since last Aug onwards , I've switched to use the services of this person who's way better than Celga like big time -> http://japanauction.byethost11.com/

He goes by the name of Kairai & after I switched in asking Kairai for his help , things have been smooth sailing & he took care of my FC related matters real professionally !

When my concert tickets for last Nov/Dec's BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2012 "BEST" -LIVE HOUSE COLLECTION- arrived at his house (before I changed the middleman services to Kairai , Celga helped me to ballot for the tickets on my behalf via team brz) , Kairai mailed my concert tickets to my house using EMS just in time before I went to Tokyo last year during 23rd - 28th Dec

you can email Kairai in asking his help to help you buy concert tickets for ayumi's upcoming tour or if you want , Kairai can help you join TeamAyu & do the necessary paperwork (for a fee of course)

This link's also useful too - http://japanauction.byethost11.com/?page_id=184

I got my TA tickets one week before the concert, so I didn“t even know what seats I got till i collected them in my hotel in Japan. So if you badly want good seats for sure TA isn“t a good option imho^^

I got a seat on TeamAyu for the 29th, and on the 31st I bought one single ticket for 20,000 from the ticket reseller in Harajuku. My seat on the 31st was better. And they had HEAPS of tickets.

I won two TeamAyu tickets for the last CDL and my seats were not good. XD
If you want good seats you can buy them from Yahoo Japan with Celga.com.

I too want to go to Ayu concert on July!!! The plane and hotel won't be a problem, but the concert ticket is the only thing i want to get FIRST, before I go there. Some people advise me just go to JPN and buy it over there....but same as you Pieces_of_SEVEN, I'm a bit paranoid~what if i go to JPN, but the tickets were sold out?

I'm also considering going to Japan this year, and if so I'll go in July so I can see the Yoyogi concerts.

Does anyone have any recent experience with buying tickets from reseller shops?
What are the prices and how likely am I to get good tickets if I arrive in Japan about two days before the concerts?

I went to CDL07-08, and bought my tickets in reseller shops just fine, but I had a lot more time then and things might have changed. Thanks in advance for any advice

I just know I want the AWESOME seats together...and I will kill for them if I have to.

edit-
OK, so someone said that after TeamAyu picks through whatever tickets they want, they go on sale to the general public. I have questions:

1) Do all tour dates go on sale the same day?
1a) What day would that be?

2) Is there a maximum amount of tickets that you can buy? (I'm trying to get 3-4 seats together and I'm gonna ask a friend in Japan to buy then as soon as they go on sale)

The norm is 2. They usually sell them in lots of two at reseller stores/YAJ, or you can win two in the ballot. There were 4 of us at the 29th and we just had to sit two and two. So I don't like your chances of getting 3-4 all together.

I'm also going in July. Since I have no close contacts in Japan, I'm going to buy from a reseller shop.

I'm a bit paranoid buying tickets from websites such as YAJapan. I would like to buy them in person so that I know that I will get the tickets.

Considering Ayu isn't super popular at the moment, I'm sure it'll be a breeze to get tickets. I mean, if resellers were still selling CDL tickets last year, then arena tour tickets will be easy to obtain.

EDIT: Thanks Earth_Maiden! That's been on my mind, "How many tickets can I buy?" It's only my boyfriend and I going, so I'm feeling relieved that they're not brought individually!!!

^You're welcome. You can buy them in sets of 2 or individual tickets (the two seats on the 31st were an average of 40,000 - 50,000 or both for arena seats. The stand seats were less than that, but I don't remember how much...).

When you're balloting for tickets through TA, you can request up to 4 for one particular date. If you win the lottery, your four tickets will be together...but you have an equal chance of being in the back of the arena as you do ending up in B-block. You will NOT know the location of your seats until the tickets come in the mail, which is usually a couple weeks/month or two before the concert.

If you wait until people have received their tickets, you have a better chance of scouring Y!J or sites like ticket.jp to find something that suits your particular needs (2+ tickets together/A-block) but be aware it may be very difficult to find these, as it's rare to see sets of 3/4 tickets than it is 2. Especially if you're planning on going to the last Yoyogi date in July--be prepared to shell out big time.

Reseller shops are a really good option and I've always been able to find tickets there. But, tl;dr, if you want tickets in your hot little hands before you get on the plane, your best option is to use a middle-man and find tickets you like at an online auction. And be prepared to pay „„„.

ETA: Not all dates go on sale at the same time. You can check Lawson's website to see when which concert dates will be going on sale, but there's nothing listed there for Ayu yet. Keep in mind that if you're buying tickets through TA or through a conbini like Lawson (when the tickets are on general sale), YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL OVER WHERE YOUR SEATS WILL BE, NOR WILL YOU KNOW UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE PURCHASED THE TICKETS. The only way to be 1000% sure of where you'll be sitting before you fork over all of your yen is to buy them secondhand.

Really? This wasn't the case for CDL12-13. Maybe its different for an Arena tour?

I've never had to deal with CDL tickets, so I'm not sure. Every time I balloted for arena tour tickets you could get up to 4.

Not all the time a FC member will be able to ballot for 4 tickets at maximum , sometimes it's only 2 tickets at maximum , depending on the circumstances

if it's a house tour , then it tends to be 2 tickets allocated for each FC member

bigger tours such as hall or arena tours or at Nippon Budokan , tend to be 4 tickets at max

as for CDL 12-13 , I remembered it was 2 tickets at max each FC member can ballot for even though it was held at Yoyogi

My biggest fear is that I book this trip to Japan and don't end up getting tickets.

So it sounds like the best way to go is through TA or reseller shops, right? I'll be staying in Tokyo, so can someone list where the best reseller shops are? I'd greatly appreciate it.
