She's been snagging drama themes for a while now. Were those dramas (featuring Last Links, Sunrise ~LOVE is ALL~, BALLAD, how beautiful you are, etc.) popular?

As far as I know the only one of the that was somewhat popular (not a smash hit, but could hold numbers) was the How beautiful you are one. But it was also aimed towards more mature audiences (something Ayu seens to be focusing on for a while now), what means it didn't really had much effect on the largest part of the music buying population (teenagers and young adults)

But Sunrise was the only track that managed to become a moderate hit.

Well, considering it's tie in flopped HARD, I would say it had way more to do with being a summer single than with being the drama theme song.
