[Color-Code] Will Make You Like Dat in their First Thread
First heard of them thanks to Miichan's ''The next generation of female artists/groups'' thread and I have been obsessed ever since. Color-code is the brainchild of Lady Gaga's designer friend Nicola Formichetti. And you certainly get a Gaga vibe from this girls first music video '' I LIKE DAT''. They have 2 singles up till now, ''I LIKE DAT'' and ''Hands Up!''. Tho they are both catchy I actually enjoy more the other songs that were in their singles. If you don't want to buy physical copies their songs are available on Amazon and Itunes for .99 each I think. They are all good and worth a lisen. Members: Spoiler:

the videos are not showing up for me on my tablet or desktop but they do show up when I check the thread on my phone...Don't know what I did wrong. Any ideas?

Maybe check your plugin or something like that. There is also a big problem because of flash player being an open door for virus lately. Firefox is blocking it for security. It's maybe why your phone and tablet can't show them.
Thanks for this thread. I wonder if we'll get news about a song or their debut album soon.

Unfortunatly I don't think they had much success with the first 2 singles. From what I understand ''I LIKE DAT'' only made it to #198 on Oricon and ''Hands up'' didn't even enter the top 200. Don't quote me on that tho. I don't know how to navigate the Oricon website that well.
Anyways...Last night they had some kind of performance. They uploaded pics from backstage in their instagram account. The pics are so fierce! Spoiler:

The green one who I guess is Mako, judging by the color-coding in the first post, has a lovely voice. Something about it that I really like.
Anyway I really liked I Like Dat a lot. Not so much the second song. But I'll try them out more.

I like both of the single songs.
Though my favourite song is Tamashii no Refrain. Just recently found out it's just a cover - but they did a damn great job on it! More from that as original, please! Ah, and I really like their image and style. It's refreshing for JPop.

 Their styling is always interesting. It's a nice change from what he (Formicetti) did while he was working with Gaga.

Random fact...I had a dream about Nanami (a.k.a. the one with pink hair) last night. I was at the mall and I was in the parking lot and saw her and I was like ''You are a member from Color Code!'' and she was like ''I didn't really think anyone would recognize me in Puerto Rico'' I asked for a pic and a hug and when I was hugging her suddenly Zooey Deschanel (the american actress) appeared out of nowhere and she was like ''I am so turned on by this'' and we both looked at her strangely and then I woke up. LoL
Anyways the girls are preparing something to celebrate their first anniversary in the music industry. So strange to think that ''I Like Dat'' was released almost a year ago. They need to release new music asap!

Why making one so late? Wonder if the different settings stand for the different characters of the members. You're lucky, Yoake! But with that chances are higher they gonna perfrom on other countries as well. Come to Germany, please!

It's in this case that I'm glad that Belgium is a tiny country. Though I would like that a lot of employers understand that too
 It's sad that they don't have an album yet. I won't buy their singles just to get a sign. If they're are some goods that I like I could choose one of them to get a sign.

Yeah, I wanna have an album already, too!
It's a bit strange they're touring already with just two singles. I'd actually save some money and go to Berlin for two days for the concert, but as it's in March already, there isn't enough time for me to get enough money. Ah, well, I just hope it will be a success, so they're coming again in the future.

I've just come back from the MIA!! Color-code was just awesome!!
Firstly I got signs from all three members. I'll share a photo of them. I bought a set of 4 pics for that! Before to talk about the concert, I would like to say that a mini-album should be released soon. When I went to the HIGH FEEL stand where you could find CC's cds and goods, I was surprised to see three CDs. I asked if it was an album and the woman answered yes. I said her that I wasn't aware at all that it was out (which is weird when you know how many informations about new songs I'm searching for to post them on AHS). She told me that it was out some days/ weels ago (she didn't point out the date and you can't find info on Internet actually). As the mini-album was expensive (20 euro for 5 songs) I didn't buy it because I'm suspecting that it's a preview showing for the European tour and that it'll be released for the Japanese market later for a cheaper price. Or maybe a new album with the singles's songs + mini-album's. I'm sorry. I know that you should be eager for the new songs but I'm not rich, and I do everything to save each pence I can. The concert was just amazing. Their voices are soooo beautiful. Especially Mako who sang a cappella a little song. They started the concert with I like Dat followed by Tamashii no Refrain. Aside the single's songs, they sang new songs. And there are really great!! Their dances are very awesome too. Nanami did some "classical" steps. It was breathtaking. (at least to me) They talked in english and said some words in french too. Marisa's french was pretty good. She said she wanted to come in Belgium since a long time, because she love chocolate. She asked us what's the best chocolate. She's really cute. Nanami and Mako struggled. They both read their texts while Marisa not. And they only said simple and usual sentences (Hello, How are you, I'm happy to be here, ...) but it was cute to see their efforts.  Each members had a fan with their names and they gave them to the audience. Unfortunately, I didn't get one. I did some short videos, the quality of the sound and the image is bad. But I wanted to share with you some moments of this concert. Spoiler:

They uploaded snippets of the performances from all new songs on their INstagram now.
Really looking forward to them, they just have that dreamy EDM style I like so much! Also saw that new CD on their Instagram, it's called "Colorfull". Couldn't din anything in the net about it, hope we get info soon. It's great, you had such a good time, Yoake! Thanks for sharing.
