It's a rainy day here and I'm finally sitting down to listen to aio piano...it's so lovely. My only gripe is that a spot on the tracklist was given to HEY!BEAR. I have nothing against the song, I like the original version, but I did NOT need a piano version of it.
I would've killed for either Planetarium or Kurage, Nagareboshi in its place. Such a waste smh

I'm actually quite curious why she didn't just do an entire album release, rather than just doing this small mini. I went to her concert in Osaka on the 12th, and she performed much more songs. Easily an album's worth. She even sang Momo no Hanabira!
She sounded great the entire concert though! And I was actually surprised by was her speaking voice! She had such a raspy kind of deep voice when she spoke that was such a contrast to her singing voice haha. She was really cute though and made the audience laugh quite a bit. Maybe it was the fact that it was a piano live instead of her usual LOVE is BORN tour, but it was quite interesting to see that most of the fans at that concert were in their 30s and 40s. There was one elementary boy at the table next to me though and he got to give her a drawing that he made. It was cute! At the concert, you could buy a CD+Drink set that came with a little pin featuring her aio cat drawing. Spoiler:
The drink is themed after Kingyo Hanabi, which oddly enough she did NOT sing that night lol  If you bought the CD+Drink set, you also had the chance to be called up on stage to meet her and sit there as she sang Momo no Hanabira. She also hid what I think was drawings/autographs at 2-3 random tables (Still not sure what it was exactly since i couldn't understand lol). But she asked everyone to check their napkin holder to see if they found it. There was an older man who both found the drawing AND got called up on stage. She was really surprised at his luck haha. After the concert ended, she disappeared for a bit before coming back for an encore. Overall it was a pretty nice experience to see her! I came to Japan for Namie but it was nice to also be able to snag last minute tickets to see Ai!  Really hoping she releases some new material soon!

^That sounds like such an amazing experience. Smaller concerts are better in my opinion, you feel closer to the artist.

 New digital single "Dracaena" to be released this coming Saturday! It's a mid-tempo ballad that will be the ending theme of the anime Pikachin-Kit. Her site lists it as "TV Anime Size Ver." so I guess it will be a shortened version? Last edited by haraiso; 1st April 2018 at 11:18 AM.

Aww, that must be her and her daughter. That's cute!  The LOVE HONEY Tour DVD comes out on the 16th, and they're doing special screenings for it in select theaters throughout Japan. People who attend the screenings will also get to see the music video for Dracaena. So maybe that's why they waited so long to release the full version? idk haha I hope she'll release a proper single/album sometime soon though! Dracaena did nothing for me. I want an upbeat BOP like "I'm lonely".

New song "Akkanbe" will be the theme song for dTV's drama "kongai renai ni nita mono."

The PV for Dracaena is out
Dracaena will be releaed as a new single on 15. september. Tracklist 1.Dracaena 2.Akkanbe 3.RounD 4.Dracaena (Instrumental) 5.Akkanbe (Instrumental) 6.RounD (Instrumental) DVD Tracklist 1.Dracaena Music Video I actually really like this song and the PV fits it perfectly. Ai is so sweet and cute in the video. But I wished that she would have had used another new song for the single as Dracaena already vor 2 releases as a digital single. Or maybe at least she could have made one of the other two tracks the lead song It's funny that I didn't like her voice that much some years ago and only Likes some songs here and there but now I find myself enjoying her recent music so much
