limited edition singles?

I remember reading somewhere on the net that the Daybreak and AUDIENCE singles were limited editions or that they only made so many copies of them. Is that true? I also remember readind that the Free and Easy single has two different versions, one which has a picture of Ayu on the disc itself and another that had only the blue sky.

I know that the free and easy single did have 2 different versions. I've seen that blue sky one, and i have the one with ayu on it. The one with ayu on it, is the earlier pressing of it.

yup, [Daybreak] + [AUDIENCE] went the same way as [appears] [kanariya] & [Fly high], only 300,000copies were produced...

the initial pressing limited version of [Free&Easy] had a picture disc bonus...
anyone here know how many actual copies of initial pressings are manufactured?

Ooh, so I better quit wasting time and get ahold of AUDIENCE and Appears... BTW, the Appears single is the one that features the darkly tanned Ayu, right?

especially regarding the analogues... the appears cover is known as kuroayu [black ayu] & the LOVEppears cover is known as shiroayu [white ayu]

good luck finding AUDIENCE & appears, ull probably find AUDIENCE easier thou... even though theyre both limited to 300,000copies, [appears] seems a lot rarer...
and the overseas edition of [appears] is rarer still = 9,999copies [im not sure if that figure is applicable to AUDIENCE as well, because i dont get overseas versions...]

I think that daybreak didn't sale well and I think that there is no limited editon for oversea c.d right. So maybe thats why they still have auidence oversea ver.

They're limited, but they're also album cuts, most other artists' singles doesn't reach anywhere near 300,000 anyways o_o"

Daybreak and AUDIENCE aren't hard to find...AUDIENCE is everywhere in HK...SURREAL is also limited to 300,000.

From rarest to easiest to find should be appears, kanariya, Fly high, SURREAL, AUDIENCE Daybreak, from what I've seen, and funny enough...in Chronological order.

in HK and HKD I've seen
appears unopened, $480HKD
kanariya or Fly high unopened $250HKD
Fly high 2nd hand $58HKD
appears 2nd hand $150 HKD
AUDIENCE and Daybreak are priced like normal singles, around $60HKD
SURREAL 2nd hand $38 HKD (No OBI)

I'm interested in the Free & Easy thing too, I've seen the cloud one on the net, but never in person...most ppl I know have the discart with Ayu's face on it.

yes, overseas are not limited edition.

SURREAL is also limited to 300,000.

actually.. SURREAL the single had no set production number. it just went out of print really soon after it's release.

yup, SURREAL was an initial pressing limited edition single...

but the best limited one was A...

four limited edition initial pressing coloured discs:
pink - monochrome
blue - too late
green - Trauma
orange - End roll

then a regular edition: black [monochrome]

then a commemoration cd celebrating sales of over 1,000,000copies: gold disc [monochrome]
then another commemoration cd for sales of over 1,500,000copies: gold jacket / disc: Trauma

the only difference between the F&E singles is the disc itself...
(and for pedantics out there the label either says ~initial limited press~ or it doesnt...]

the regular disc is just a cloudy sky, and the picture disc has ayus face
