i adore them ^__^ i've been a huge fan of theirs for three and a half years. i've gotten many people into them because one of the shirts i have of theirs is really neat, and it made people want to listen to them ^^;

I hope they die. They're overrated, at least if you ask me. Everyone I know loves them and thinks they write "amazing lyrics", but they're just like any regular punk band. Davey's voice annoys the hell out of me, too. ><

I used to sort of listen to them, a few songs here and there, but most of it, I found, sucked. Now their new album and new found "fandom" have turned me off even more. -.-;

Die, die die..

just because some people think afi is so great, doesn't really mean they are overrated.

we all have our own opinions of course. they used to have really goofy lyrics before the art of drowning, but since then they've gotten a little bit more serious. they do write good lyrics tho.

Wudz ur fav album?

Anyways, I voted for they're okay. Man, I still love those old EPs... All Hallows and especially A Fire Inside EP... those were the days. Back when I didn't have to wonder whether Davey was an edger or not. Black Sails is still nice, Art Of Drowning has its moments, but Sing The Sorrow... I don't know why they're going all emo all of a sudden. They suck at doing emo. And the pre-EP days... Answer That and stuff... that was okay, but nothing spectacular. They kicked ass though when I saw em in May last year.
