Anyone ever get old of listening to Ayu?

Well..anyone ever get old from listening to Ayu? I've been listening to Ayu for a long time, I think about a year or so, I know it isn't that long at all compare to some of you guys. But I've been listening to Ayu everyday, I mean every single day, at home, at work, at school, at bus, train, walk, etc..and right now I think I've lost the feelings of Ayu..the songs isn't that powerful anymore..I mean I treat it just as regular songs Unlike I was loving her songs so much a while ago.. But right now I still like her songs, just not as much as before...I think I've been listening to Ayu too much. I would like to go back before when I first met Ayu, that I didn't know the names of the songs..and only heard a few more songs...hmm you know..just like you're new to Ayu..I would love to do that again..just to lose my memories of Ayu..hmm that would be fun

Hmm.... no, I dont think so. I've been listening to ayu since 2001ish and I think because she has just so much material, that I never get bored of it. I listen to a lot of other artists as well, so it's not all ayu all the time, so I think that makes a difference too... But I keep finding new things to listen to or watch of Ayus, cause I dont have all her videos and I bet there are still songs I dont know. She's still interesting and new to me

For a 4th language, you're pretty good!

But about the topic, I've had several times where I hardly liked Ayu anymore. It first started sometime in mid-late 2002 (I heard about Ayu in Nov. 2000). At the time, Free & Easy had been released, and Ayu-Trance 2 was an upcoming album. Since I heard more and more trance at the time, I hardly ever listened to Ayu songs. I kinda avoided Ayu site/forums, since little of what she did interested me. But once I heard the Hanabi (Lange Mix), I slowly started liking her again. Rainbow lowered my like for her once again, but sometime around late 2003, I started becoming just about as "obsessed" with her as I did in early 2002! While I don't really consider her latest songs to be as awesome as the songs around the time of I am... / Ayu-mi-x IV, I'm still a fan of her and will probably be one for as long as she continues singing

Me? I've been listening to Ayu ever since 2001. There are still new songs I like. At first, I didn't really like her. Then I really started to like her, but now it's just a "I still like her". LOL! XD Kinda confusing, but I hope you get the point. But she's still awesome. She's never tiring. =)

I kinda stopped....

i listen toe sometimes but not as much as i used to, its cuz i cant stand slow songs anymore.. when will ayu reach out to her fans that liek teh gold fast ones?!

yea i do get tired of her songs sometimes .. i get sick of stuff very easily ..

thats y i try to keep a variety of songs on my playlist

The initial period is great, because she simply has too many good songs to hear, I've been listening to her for 4 years, but revisiting the classics such as SEASONS, End roll, Dearest, Who..., M etc are still great. These songs are still very powerful to me, and many more.

I don't listen to her everyday though, there are many many artists out there other than Ayu. I think you can get sick of a song no matter how great it is if you listen to it everyday...

And Ballads r0xors.

I agree (not to ballads lol) but yeah I liek her odl stuff more. Fast ones. liek evolution, fly high (the best!!) and July 1st.

and yeah u can get tired of a song fast.. I played Independent+ for liek 2 weeks str8 now i cant stand it... mabey itll come back to me eventually

independent and HANABI I haven't heard in ages...I was listening to HANABI the other day and I couldn't recognise what song it was when the intro came on o___O"

But fast songs like July 1st, Naturally, Depend on you, etc are great. Even ANGEL's SONG.
Though I think I overplayed July 1st for a while from excitement early in it's released...

NEVER EVER... I can;t get enough of AYU I listen to her ALL DAY LONG!!!! always!!!! since the realse of I am.. I'm a fan.

and i think i'll be loving her and her music for a long long time to come!

lol me too!! about July 1st, July 1st was my favorite song when I first heard it, and I just keep replaying that song over and over

and btw I think I do need some fresh stuffs..but I just don't know who are some good Japanese singers...I also listen to DAI, BoA, and Hikii, but I think those songs gets old too quick..DAI is too rockish, BoA is too popish, and Hikiru is not bad, but they can't compare to Ayu, Ayu is just right

Rock, pop, blue all in one!!

I think Ayu gets old too quick for me is because my playlist isn't random, they're all from the same artist..like for example I would have playlists like "BoA" "Ayu" "DAI" and I just put my fav songs for those artist on those playlists..I think I need to mix them up...

no.... ive listened to ayu since 2002... but Ive never getting old or lost the power of her songs... so many memories with ayu then... sob..sob T_T (looking back to the past)

I haven't got tired of listening to Ayu yet - I listen to artists in rotation, so I haven't got really tired of anything yet. Keeps things interesting.

I still do listen to her, just not really that much anymore. There's so many good music out there, so few time. Stupid to waste it all listening to nothing but Ayu. I mean, she rocks, but I heard all her songs a 1000 times already.

I can get tired of listening to Ayu too much, and like others have said there are other artists out there. However, one song I can't seem to get sick of is Because of You~~

Ive listened to Ayu since June/July 02. I find myself listening to her music less now, and obsessing over different things. But, every once-and-a-while I'll put in one of her CD's, and then I'll go "wow, shes good." A little bit of Ayu every once and a while keeps me a fan. Maybe before it was because there was so much stuff that I hadn;t heard or seeen yet, and now that I've seen it all, its waiting around for the new stuff...
