INPSIRE no.2 on Oricon's future release expectancy chart

Since Jose posted the other thread about Usen I guess I'll post this too.

INPSIRE is currently number 2 on the chart. I think it's got to do with how many people have clicked to see the single's description. Usually this reflects the first few day's rankings...and Masaharu Fukuyama's Niji is no.1 on the chart.

Well I won't be surprised if ayu loses to fukuyama masaharu because anything from him all sells. Back in 2000 his single "sakurazaka" sold 2.68 million copies while ayu's "SEASONS" was around 1.36 million, so that was pretty much the half. Yeah, you can say he's sort of overrated, to me that song is just so-so...

Masaharu Fukuyama really is that popular? Odd. . . I've never heard of him before. Are his songs deserving to be in the top selling position or are they selling just because he's a guy? If they're deserving, then much congrats to him. But unfortunately several artists out there are overrated indeed.

Actually I'm quite interested in seeing how well INSPIRE will sell. Hehe, that rhymes!

I think it's got alot to do with the fact that he's

1). a guy, and I guess good looking
2). a famous actor in doramas
3). got a legion of 20/30 something female fans who do nothing but watch doramas and have a ton of money to spend on CDs.

Ayu doesn't appear in doramas at all and even if she did it's mostly female audiences anyway...so she's lost fans in that demographic. But then Masaharu's song is a remix single so who knows what'll happen until the day....

Yes, he is huge inside Japan. He, B'z, and Southern All Stars are like the gods in Japan's music scene. Other dominant figures include Mr.Children, DREAMS COME TRUE, ZARD etc, going to their concerts and you will get almost deaf by the overwhelming screams.

well is not really a surprise if ayu did lost to Masaharu Fukuyama
after all he's really one of the tops in Japan along with those that memtioned by Brighlight
at first i saw TMR was third...........and i thought was.........third thats really impossible
TMR have nothing to get up that high....
but all in all Masaharu Fukuyama is still a great artist/actor and so is Ayu
