You might even get scared just watching the PV. Yes. Scary clowns (representing the media, record company and such). Eyeball in Ayu's mouth. It's scary. But it shows another side of Ayu. Her darkess side. If you thought "ourselves" was too much, you'll be impressed by "alterna". It's a deep and powerful PV. With a BIG message. People often know Ayu as this super cutesy j-pop kogal. If you are used to this image, you'll be shocked. Really shocked.

do you think ayumi hamasaki can now make her own music company? since she's really big and if AVEX is turning her down? why would AVEX amkes her a video like that ne? O_o
but my question is.....
IS AYU READY FOR MAKIN HER OWN MUSIC COMPANY? like what mariah carey did.. she was fired by her record company.... she made her own company..... there's a few artists to name... ^_^
but for my opinion i think she is ready! cos from her condition now alot of fans love her and really excited for her upcomings and releases.. ^_^

I don't know...Ayu is still a big money maker for Avex, plus...isn't it kinda hard to MAKE a record company just like that -snaps finger-?

Madonna did it. And since Ayu's popularity in Japan is comparable to Madonna, I would say yes, she could do it. It would be a risk and be difficult but if she really wanted to, she could. I'm sure Max would be there to help start the company with her.

I dont think avex will drop ayu... or r they stupid? o_O roflmao I think it would be kinda nice for ayu to have her own company, but I think it would be tiring (sp?) for ayu cuz its a lot to bundle and I think ayu would explode in 2-4yrs durin her company. lol

well, I don't think she's going to be independent...unless she doesn't want to stay at avex anymore...but, I think AVEX treats her good and no reason for her to leave.what is more,Max is still in AVEX...I think AYU will follow him

and, does ayu has 'nuf money and workmates to build up a new company...we don't know huh~

This is the product of months of rumors about Ayumi and Avex having a falling out. Unless something is issued by either party, I wouldn't worry about anything changing.

Ayu could make her own record label if she wants, you don't have to be THAT big.
Both members of m-flo have made their own record label, Verbal's is doing pretty good (Heartsdales are under it)

but didn't Max Matsuura already cleared the rumors out and said that he and ayu are "war buddies"? Would Ayu make her own record co. if max still supports her?

no, mariah carey got booted from her company and signed on to island cause island offered the most money for her. theres no way, no way she made it. the record company itself doesnt suck though, many of their artists/releases are actually pretty good. a lot better than JIVE.

Finally! Someone who is thinking in a practical way. It makes me laugh how people always think there's some plot against Ayumi and how her PV's always have some amazing meaning. Don't get me wrong, "alterna" clearly does echo some of Ayumi's experiences.

I'm waiting for some poor newbie to buy into the "Ayumi leaving Avex to make own company!" thing.

asongforxx - It's annoying when you don't get credit, right? If I ever translate something here (even a little thing), somebody will take it and post it elsewhere w/o credit. Oh well.

I wouldn't be so quick to pass off the alterna PV. Ayu is a very symbolic artist. She's always stressed symbols behind her lyrics and even the covers to her albums. Her PVs are no different.

i think that Ayu might start her own label once she's done performing. maybe after she retires, she might become a producer, songwriter, composer, etc. I wouldn't bee surprised. ^_^ More power to her.

i havent seen the pv so im just saying my opinion about her being dropped
its not big deal, she can really make her own company easily - i think her stuff will be better then..she will be more free without the fixed releases limits avex gives her..also maybe avex is planning for that for a long time..it has been gathering plenty new artists and promotes them really a lot..like to start "recovering" in money before even dropping ayu (wise business choice)

as for what u said about the pv..its like a poem..people find and get touched by different things even without the poet/artists intention..everybody has the right to think of the pvs as he wants
