[REACTIONS] "fairyland" PV

LOVE THE PV!!!!!! she looks so 'fresh', happy, clean - healthy and alive!!! the last scenes are beautiful but the photograph at the end is kinda sad.

i see how they spent that much $$ on it!

it's a GORGEOUS!!!! video!!!!!

ayu looks SOOOOOO good!

looking from the caps its a nice pv... but I dunno either.. can someone upload it in a little low quality? Ill dead if I have to dl 206 MB as connection from indonesia only 0-1 KBPS using torrent >.<

yes the PV is only DANCING and PRETTY LOOKING

honestly im quite disapointed, havnt seen such a bland ayu PV for probably 3 years

It has NO STORY line, just a whole bunching of jumping and smiling.. and I think the 240,000,000 yen was well wasted.. probably 3/4 of it was for the plane tickets and accomadations, and for the remaining quarter was for the burning house and plane scenes (which was few)

Agreed, for that amount of money I was expecting her to fart rainbows or something spectacular, the entire jumping around seemed to be a slow build-up to 'something' and I was ok with that, then it went to the house burning and I thought that was a real cop out. Yeah sure it gets the point in her lyrics across but for that much money the director could've taken the audience to tears with a much more bittersweet PV, instead he settles for confusing and confounding with stylism and aerial shots which were a bit uneeded after the umpteenth one.

It very very beautiful, props to the camera men and the editors [who made that tight/awsome/m33p freeze in the dance before the chours...SO awsome!]

It really showed innocence, i LOVED her make up..., the dancing was great but of course, the dancers are

[they've taken LOADS of classes, ballet, jazz, the works].

About those tan line, I think it was intentional, to show that children don't try to look at their best,as adults do, because they would much rather play and dance rather than spend hours in front of a mirror

, the her clevage looked scary too, scarier than the alterna PV

My predictions were correct, I did and do,in fact, enjoy fairyland better after watching the PV [same w/ CAROLS but I didn't expect liking it xD]

I agree with stardusties. I actually liked it more AFTER seeing the PV. Actually, it was really seeing it in HQ. I

at the HQ version. God, the burning house scene!

I also agree about that dancers freeze at the chorus!! GREAT cinematography!

lol. Just saw it and I gotta say, this is why I love Ayumi.

She can never just let things be happy. Even her happiest of happy sounding songs have to have some kind of sadness about them.

I really liked the PV, though not as much as Alterna and I'm still not sure if this video should have cost as much as it did.(although it does look great.)

Also, yes the PV was a lot of dancing and looking pretty, but in the second half of the song, when the house burns down it becomes more serious.

for 240 million yen, i expected more. regardless, it's a good PV, but not one of her best. it's sad though. at the end when the house burns.

true.. but the scenes of the house burning doesnt relli suit the song.. shes singing in a high happy voice, but at the same time in the PV she looks sad and singing in a sad tone..the PV was very pretty but pretty meaningless.. i love the alterna video alot more, even tho its kinda creepy!

But the song itself is about summer coming to an end, so in that sense it is very fitting. Also, her singing happy while sad things are going on around her, isn't really new for Ayu.

In some ways it's what makes many of her songs that sound like they are happy, actually become morbid. Such as Trauma sounding insanely happy, but the lyrics not being happy at all.

maybe thats why I dont like the video very much.. i dont really like his transitions very much!

yea the 240 yen thing was a bust, I bet a lot was from installing those pressure water pipes X_x! and buidling that shiz, then the clean up X_x

Wow... I love love love the video. It is the exact opposite of alterna. They are incomparable for me, since alterna is more of substance/meaning and this one just oozes with style/ beauty. It's so so so beautiful and refreshing to look at. The fire scenes are nice to look at as well. I think with the combination of alterna and fairyland, i might just buy this single with the DVD

I'm stunned at how gutsy ayu is for making 2 totally contradicting yet amazing PVs. Just when I thought ayu has done everything she could possibly do...
