fairyland 2nd week sales ~
Yay ayu is no 2 in the oricon weekly ranking
selling

62223 ...

1st week = 172.221
2nd week = 62.223

total sales = 234.444

not bad ~~ but B'z in the other hand sold 264.925 in the first week

No. B'z are great. I like the music they make, and they are considered a classic band in Japan, a band which songs will never die. In the non-Japanese j-pop fanbase, they are underrated. Ayu is the one overrated

what was the 2nd wk total for STEP you?? but 172,221 to 62,223 is a really big drop, i was hoping for at least 80K this wk

yea i did a little searching:

STEP you/is this LOVE?

WEEK I: 164,008
WEEK II: 68,977
2wk total: 232,985

fairyland c/w alterna

WEEK I: 172,221
WEEK II: 62,223
2wk total: 234,444

can't believe it....fairyland 2nd week lower than STEP you's. n the 2 singles r only 1500 units apart. i guess fairyland mite just sell the same amount as STEP you, around 340,000

^hrm...thanks for the stats. i was hoping it'd do significantly better than STEP you/is this LOVE? but looks like its averaging out to be about the same. oh well.

Unbelievable, I thought OCEAN single wouldn't be such a hit, all of the songs were not good... perhaps it's because they released 3 song in a single.

hopefully next week she'll be #1

I love B'z, and was kinda disappointed by 'OCEAN'. But do keep in mind that 'OCEAN' was a theme song for a drama.

Still, her sales aren't bad. I'll be really surprised if STEP you sells more in the end though.

I'm amazed it did so badly the second week, although i must admit i personally did like STEP you/Is this love? a little bit better than Fairyland c/w Alterna
