I don't recall what my first DVD was though...

Mine was "The Lion King" OST back in 1994.
First DVD would be Sammi Cheng's "Sammi i Concert Live 99".

As for Japanese releases, it'd be "LOVEppears", "A song for XX", SPEED's "Carry On My Way" and GLAY's "HEAVY GAUGE" simultaneously.

The first CD I ever bought with my own money earned from actual work would have to be... oh man. It was a huge Little Tokyo shopping trip with alot of stuff in it. The first one ever bought FOR me was New Kids On the Block's Hangin' Tough album XD that wasn't the first album i ever owned though... i got michael jackson's Bad on cassette for christmas when i was 5.

The first video ever bought for me was 2 episodes of Barbie & The Rockers (does ANYONE remember that cartoon? lol ^_^)... actually it might have been The Wizard of Oz... i really do not remember which came first. The first DVD was... hm... wow, i don't even remember. It's been awhile. First one just for me & me alone was Princess Mononoke, i think, cuz every other DVD my mom got was for the whole family. We just ALL enjoyed it. But that one was just for me.
