[MU] Juanes: Your new favourite singer
Juanes is a very famous singer from Columbia. His songs are absolutely amazing. Since most of us here have at least a bit of an interest in foreign music, I wanted to share with you my new favourite artist. Anyone already know of him? I'm sure at least some of you do.... He's colaberated with people like Nelly Furtado to Taboo and The Black Eyed Pease. He's releasing his CD in Japan soon I've found out... and he'll be touring there a mere 2 weeks before my trip to Japan!! Nooo...

He's really famous here...but now that the promotion of his latest album is over... there's no airplay anymore for juanes in here ._.
I personally don't like his music... but I think he is a great composer/singer

Yeah, i don't like him for the same reason... too mainstream and overplayed.
 I used to like him when he was unknown. "Fijate bien" is the only song by him i really like. Oh! And "Fotografía" reminds me of me and my best friend... it's like -our- song. u_u

I love "La Camisa Negra", but I can see that if his stuff was played regularly in Australia (it isn't at all) I might get sick of the song

ok, I must say I liked him before I moved to germany, in Mexico he was already known before than in germany, now its kinda annoying to listlen to his music everyday in the radio, his songs come like every hour >_<. I still like some songs of him but not so much that I am a big fan of him. and it is also good that he is getting known all around the world n_n

Btw, yeah I read about him in lotsa papers here and his album was even reviewed and compared to Shakira's OF2 for some reason. o__O Is anyone kind enough to upload Fotografia cos Nelly Furtado is one of my favourites..

My friend loves Juanes and plays his CDs whenever I go anywhere with her. I like La Camisa Negra but I don't know many of his other songs. The song with Nelly Furtado sounds really nice though.

I like La Camisa Negra too, though the video's really wierd. Like rodrigoyuurei says, La Paga is a good song if you want a reccomendation That's the one with The Black Eyed Peas in it as well.

*bump* I just watched Juanes perform live on the morning news today...haha, I hadn't even heard of him before today. It was amusing to watch though--the morning news hosts were all clapping along and loving it all. Plus, Juanes gave the hosts some gifts, so they were sooo happy.
