What if we only got making ofs?

Just like the title says. What if instead of a promotional vid was released it was just the making of and you had to wait to buy the album to see the rest?

How would you take it? Would you rebel lol.

This just isnt about ayus vids I guess..but about any artists vids.

I would like it better..it would build up all this excitment and then when I recieve my cd I would have a bunch of new material to watch seeing as the video was never released. I would love the cd even more becuase its all new stuff. All the build up with the making I would love to see the finish product in all its glory on my Tv ^^

how are they suppose 2 promote the song again?
just radio airplay? then i think, Ayu's BLUEBIRD/BF single wudnt even sell more than 100k :S and there'd be no more no 1 chart debut for ayu iMO..

I don't think I'd like it, cuz of all the videos on TV that I would never see then. There are alot of artists that have cool videos, sure, but I don't like the artist enough (or maybe not the song enough) to buy their album or single for the PV. I'd hate to watch MTV or something and just see making-of footage all day ^^;; It wouldn't be particularly entertaining and I wouldn't be all that interested in any of the songs... unless the making-ofs were REALLY well done.

or maybe there will be a pv made, but only on tv and the pv will not be indlude in the singles. you only get the pv with the album. that will be a better idea

I dunno, I think I would take it pretty well. Afterall alot of her making making of videos are very much like her behind the scenes photoshoot dvds, which I find ok.

I'd rather keep it like we have now ^^ a making of is more for real fans who are interested in seeing the backstage stuff

I would hate it but I see your point in building excitement.

The band AAA sort of do this. They release a short version of the PV for TV use then use the full one on the DVD. That helps build the excitement for me cuz then I wanna see the whole thing
