Both pic are definitely better than the BLACK CD version and both WHITE versions. Silly them, can't even pick the better pictures for the covers...

I LOVE THE BLACK CD VERSION! I have it as my wallpaper on my Cell cuz it is my favorite one - I absolutely hate the CD+DVD BLACK!

I think they shot all the photos with a black background. If you look at the edges of her hair around her head, it looks a bit "choppy" like they cut out the BLACK to add in the WHITE.

They have a whole photoshoot with all kinds of nice angles and emotions. And they use the most boring 4 to be the actual covers..

omg!!! i like these so much more!!!! they don't look as kinda-freaky with her big wide open eyes... heheheh.

o well, the ones they chose are good enough i guess... but could cover design change the sales??? just wonderin.

I think the first one wouldn't do good as a cover, becouse it's not well proportioned/arranged in the frame. The second one kinda doesn't fit becouse of her smiling, but I nevertheless I would choose it, becouse she looks lovely and adorable!

I don't get Avex anymore..


BLUE BIRD
They had 3 covers for the CD that all are like identicle.. But after that they release a new A-Nation fan and poster all with alternative covers.

(miss)understood
They shoot 2 whole photobooks PLUS booklets in New York City. But what do they use for the covers? the most hideous pictures taken with a simple handcamera with a badly MS-Painted heart on top of it.

A BEST 2
They have a whole photoshoot with all kinds of nice angles and emotions. And they use the most boring 4 to be the actual covers..

I think ayu is trying to link A BEST 2 to A BEST, that's why she chose those four shots as the covers (big heads, big eyes, and a hand on/near the face). Personally I think those four covers really suit A BEST theme.

For (m)u and BLUE BIRD.. I totally agree with you. I accept the blurriness of (m)u cover (probly it's just a work of art)... I just can't accept why ayu chose that monkey smile for CD only cover...
