MC's albums always get pushed back. She's not even done recording yet. Emancipation was supposed to come out the end of 2004, but ended up early 2005.

^I agree plus the title of the new album sucks. She really hasn't been doing anything lately and there's no new video of her, well on BET anyways. If MJB is releasing a new album on the same day as Mariah then MJB is going to win. Have u heard Breakthrough? That album is tooo raw!!!

Breakthrough got to 3x platinum sales in the US, compared to Mariahs 6x platinum with mimi. and there's no point comparing worldwide sales, I bet MJB didn't even chart in as many countries where mariah went at least gold in sales with mimi....

anyways, I'm looking forward to mariahs next album. she's working with all the best producers. I especially want to hear the rumored trakc Polow Da Don produced for her, his my fave urban/hiphop producers at the moment

Yes, by raw, I mean AMAZING! I LUVED EVERY TRACK ON MJB's ALBUM! Emanicaption was Amazing too but it wasn't as AMAZING as MJB!!!

Wow, that's kinda sudden? Where are the singles or the promotion? I haven't heard anything it must be on the DL.
Its really hard to surpass a groundbreaking album, and I think with Mariah it will be no different. (especially when you're trying to make it better) Emanicipation had her Come Back as a contributing factor to its awesomness. Now that 'WOW' factor'll be gone. I hope its not a recycled ver. of all her Emancipation singles.

Yea....she had Jermani Derpre! (I hope that's how u spell his last name) Her key into making that HUGE comeback. I don't how much he can contribute to the album since he's not so good on his new stuff. The only song I've heard Mariah this year was in the new Bone Thug's n Harmony video and it was a collabo with two other artist.

^It's perfectly understandable. Heck, I only watch tv when animes and Family Guy are on. lol But yea, BTNH should retire b/c no one is really into them anymore. I LUV Crosswords but nothin' else of theirs really....well, other than that song they did with Phil Collins. If Mariah wants to sell this album she better have T-pain, Timberland, Justin Timberlake, and Kanye on it. They seem to be the only male artists that sellin' like crazy this year especially T-pain and Kanye!!!

I've always known the UK to get the releases later. but, recently, things have changed.

^ I don't know about others, but TEOM was released overseas before the US. I think usually most US artists release it in the US first to try and counteract it leaking too early if it hasn't already. I don't know why MC likes to do it later.

By the way, this is not the confirmed album title yet. Just the other night she said that the title was still undecided and it would be released soon. The rumor for this name has been around for about a month or so.
