KEIKO (globe) to debut as solo artist in 2008, under Universal Music.

avex所属時は契約の内容からか、KEIKO単独でCDを発売することはほとんどなく、企画物にソロで参 加するくらいである。2008年、KEIKO単独でユニバーサルミュージックへ移籍、アーティスト名義を「 KCO」とし活動する。

人気音楽ユニット、globeのKEIKO（35）が、「KCO（ケイコ）」のアーティスト名で来年１月か ら
ソロ始動することが22日、分かった。夫の音楽プロデューサー、小室哲哉（48）のプロデュー スで、
シングル「snow story」（ユニバーサルミュージック）を2008年1月23日にリリースし、本格的ソロ活動を展開する 。

　日本音楽史に数々の金字塔を打ち立てた人気グループの女性ボーカリストが、KCOとして
帰ってくることになった。約1年5カ月ぶりの音楽活動本格再開は、ソロプロジェクト。歌だけで なく、
1人の女性アーティストとしてのキャラクターも前面に出し、バラエティーやトーク番組にも積極的 に
出演していく。

　新たな一歩にKCOは、「誤解されては困るけど、globeはぜいたくな修業時代だったね、 と
いつか言えるぐらいのソロ活動にしたいですね。ヒットも勝負や結果のひとつだとしても、どれだ け
聞いてくれる人の心に深く刺さるかもそうだと思っています」と抱負。

　髪形もトレードマークになっていた金髪からブラウンにチェンジ。2008年、KCOが新たな 魅力を
振りまいてくれそうだ。

According to this info I found on the internet, globe's vocalist KEIKO is about to start her solo career in Universal Music Japan, under the name "KCO". I assume she will still remain in avex globe, though.

KCO's first single is supposed to be "snow story", song produced by Tetsuya Komuro, and its release date is January 23, 2008.

And she went by KCO a while back with her Humanrace single, which was awesomesauce.

The single was called "KCO" (contained 4 different songs, including HUMANRACE), and was released in 2003 or something.

I think her style will be electronic/dance-oriented... mainly because her music will produced by her husband
