The sales is better than i expected..=) so mayb tis album will do better than SECRET and (miss)understood, even thou she lost her No.1 streak, just by a little

I don't really think GUILTY has the chance to beat (m)u, but maybe Secret. But with little chances.

　左耳の聴力を失ったことを明かし、動向が注目される浜崎あゆみのアルバム「ＧＵＩＬＴＹ」は２位を記録。 コブクロの「５２９６」におよばなかった。

　今回のオリコンチャートの集計期間は昨年１２月２４日から今月６日。昨年１２月１９日発売の「５２９６」 に対し、「ＧＵＩＬＴＹ」は元日発売。“ハンデ”があったものの、売り上げは「５２９６」の４５万５０００ 枚に迫る４３万２０００枚だった。

　オリジナルアルバムに限ると、浜崎は１作目の「Ａ　Ｓｏｎｇ　ｆｏｒ　××」（９９年１月）から前作「Ｓ ｅｃｒｅｔ」（０６年１１月）まで８作連続で首位を獲得。次回２１日付のチャートで記録更新がなるかが注目 される。

　会員制のファンクラブサイトで４日、左耳の聴力を失ったことを報告。突然の告白に７日、インターネットの 掲示板は話題騒然となった。「歌えるの？」「引退しないで」など心配する声も目立ち、所属するエイベックス にもファンや関係者から問い合わせが相次ぎ対応に追われた。

　浜崎の左耳の状態については「聴力を完全に失ったわけではないと思います」と説明する関係者もおり、今後 も浜崎本人の言動が注目される。

Why hasn't Oricon updated their charts? It's well into the day over there, and their album weekly's haven't updated at all.

yes... Oricon counts GUILTY 2 weeks as 1.. so isn't GUILTY still a #1-album, considering it was #1 for its 'first week', even though it wasn't #1 for it's 'first plus second week'? I mean it went like this right:
Week 1: Guilty won
Week 2: The other one won
Week 1+2: The other one won again

if it were any other week in the year, Ayu'd be counted as a #1, right? So why not now? Just b'cos oricon didn't update its site with Week 1?
