[Namie Amuro] Does Namie Amuro deserved this kind of Review for BEST FICTION???

Hi guys,i was just scrolling through Yesasia.com and went to Namie Amuro's Section to she has stuff and this i saw this Review or a comment made by a Customer abt BEST FICTION

Is it me or does Namie Amuro look more easy with each and every release? Her song "Do Me More" sounds sickening and "Sexy Girl" seems like a 40-year-old doing a teenager's song. She cannot dance and she is starting to look old at an early age. She has lost her edge and is just Japan's version of Rihanna - no talent but just pure eyecandy and catchy tunes. I hope retirement is on Namie's 2009 calendar. Im harsh but dreadfully truthful. get used to it.


I feel that this person either hates Namie like wht or simply just don't like her music....But for me i feel that Namie is only 30 years of age! And for an artist i don't think she is old....It's gd to have Namie to do Hip Hop! She is Different from Other singers and Hip hop is what makes her stand out from the rest!

What do u guys think abt the comment?

Ummm Namie looks very young and yet is 30, her 2 new songs are really great and the Video clip from sexy girl had great dancing and theme, whats he talkin bout?

Everyone has an opinion I suppose. The only thing that matters is how the individual feels towards something to be honest. If you like Namie then cool, don't worry about one or two negative reviews.

Me on the other hand...I don't completely disagree with him, though I won't go as far to say that her songs sound like a 40 year old.

Her songs seem to go for a certain type of image which IMO is sexy a few times, but when overused becomes just sleazy...

Also, why does he wish her retirement? Can't he just stop being stupid and listening to her? I guess some ppl just can't help but intoxicate themselves with their compulsive guilty pleasures

Still it's his opinion. Whatever...The only thing I hated on BEST FICTION was the horrible photoshopped butter face namie, which was dreadful (but it wasn't namie's fault...blame the graphic artist or something)...and FUNKY TOWN

no point to fight fire with fire where in due time you will get burnt even more than ever/before

if the person doesn't like Namie/BEST FICTION , why bother to buy it in the 1st place ?

he/she could have use the $ spent on the album on something else instead of buying it now & then dissing it later or was it the other way round ?

I'll never understand people like that. Sure I am not a fan of Namie, I like some of her songs, hate the other ones, but I have nothing against her. She works hard, and releases relatively good material, considering I am not a fan of RnB and Hip Hop I am surprised I like her songs nowdays. She doesn't look old, and she doesn't look easy xD she never did touch the bottom like Ku did (imo), and I respect her because of that. BEST FICTION isn't the best album out there, but we all know that the BEST things usually don't get what they deserve.

If he would even like anything of her he could give an honest constructive critisism and not just "old blah retire" I hate it.

I agree with the part of Rihanna having "no talent" and being "pure eyecandy" with catchy tunes (sorry to the Rihanna-fans, but I don't like her music, that's my opinion of course). Namie looks good and nice for her age and I hope she doesn't retire for a long time I love Do Me More and Sexy Girl And Namie can't dance? If she can't dance, then Celine Dion can't sing! I really wonder how Namie can dance a WHOLE CONCERT with HIGH HEELS without falling/slipping/... In other words, she is a GREAT dancer!!!!

I agree that she needs to grow up and stop being so skanky (put some clothes on, you're someone's mother!), but other than that, the review was unnecessarily rude.

Yeah. And seriously, Namie doesn't wear skanky clothes at all. Short skirts? Maybe. But she NEVER shows her cleavage. Seriously... NEVER.

I like all namie songs on this BEST CD, except her new bonus tracks. I just dont feel it, whether the song or the video. 60s70s80s or the PLAY or QUEEN of HIP POP is way better than these new songs.

Those comments were definitely uncalled for. However, I agree with the Rihanna comment, but to a lesser extent. I can't get into anything post-2005, minus a few songs here and there. I think Namie's an excellent artist and all, but it sounds to me like her producers are trying way too hard lately. It's like all of her songs have the same robotic melody, and she just 'talks' her way through.
