A COMPLETE on Yesasia or CDJapan?
Most of my ayu merchandise has been bought thru Ebay, but I really want to preorder the A COMPLETE box set.
I haven't made any purchases on Yesasia in a long time, so I was wondering. Would it be better to preorder it on Yesasia or CDJapan?

If you order on Yesasia before the end of this month then you automatically get a prize. So Yesasia'd be good to order with

as far as i know there will be 250 of Ayu prizes, and the winners will be picked out randomely by a computer from both YESasia and CDjapan! if CDjapan wouldn't be included in the prize, they wouldn't have a "banner" of the Ayu prizes on their site, right? i ordered it on CDjapan, because they have shipping to my country and i heard that they roll the posters, unlike YesAsia (they fold them). (i'm thinking for the future xD since there's no poster in A COMPLETE) |

And YesAsia people always roll the posters and store them in a tube that usually arrives a few days after the cds. Last edited by njanjayrp; 20th August 2008 at 11:57 PM. |

The Avex prizes, Your confirmed one if you order from Yesasia before the end of this month. Its a lottery with CDJapan - Your not confirmed one unfortunately for people ordering ages ago):
Also, Yesasia dont fold posters. They come in a seperate tube. |

I just looked on Yesasia, it says you get one if you order before the 31st. Nothing about a lottery! I'm going to have to cancel my CD Japan order now >.<

TBH, and this just me, could be wrong. YA will end up changing what they say about the gifts. If you go to the pre-order page, you'll see they mention that they are free to change the promotion in anyway they feel like, at any given time.
It's just weird to me that YA is doing this and CDjapan isn't. But anyway, I kept my order from CDJ because it's cheaper

YesAsia could just be covering their butts in case they get more orders than they have prizes. Imagine ordering at the last minute on the 31st and not getting a prize because they ran out...then you go to the page and see that they "modified" it and only "most" people got the prize.

^Yea, but they could also have the promotion running up till the 31st. And let's say they get 250+ orders, then idk like at Sep 1st, they tell the other orders that aren't within the 250 That they aren't getting anything. To me it seems that they just said that whole "till August 31" to get more orders.
I think more people are starting to realize that YA's "free shipping" isn't actually free, and if you choose anoter method you'll just end up paying more than if you bought from somewhere else. |

YesAsia = Pricier Items and Pricier Shipping O.o
Although if you choose the free shipping, you will get it cheaper... |

I guess if you want to buy, either is fine. But YA might give you more of an opportunity to win a prize.
I preordered mine from CDJapan from July 30, but it only cost me $55 (with EMS -- fastest -- shipping) because I had 700 yen in points from before. But without coupons, CDJ will cost you more. Example: Quote:
