*GARNET CROW* First offical thread

"GARNET CROW is a four-piece band, consisting of a vocalist, two keyboardists and a guitarist. This brings a very unique sound to the band as the instrumental line-up is not what you'd find in most other bands out there. Their first mini-album was a hit in the indie scene, which quickly caused GIZA to sign them up on their label. The band has performed several songs for the Japanese animation, such as Meitantei Conan and MÄR Heaven. They have, to date, released 25 singles, 1 mini-album and 5 original albums. Nakamura Yuri's vocals are deeper than most other female vocalists in the Japanese music scene, which also adds a touch of uniqueness to this group"

There is no thread, so I decided to open one(while listening to the fist single i could found lol) and they are amazing. what caught my attention is this:

I love their current single Hyakunen no Kodoku (百年の孤独).
It's calming me down everytime I hear it.^^
Such a nice song.

I really like Yuris deep voice, it's so unique.

Hyakunen no Kodoku is their 28th single, released on 22nd october.

I didn't know there was a thread for them, until I did a search.

Not too familiar with their music, but I know they have some new music out, as I saw
a new pv uploaded in download section.

Anyway, it's good to know GARNET CROW is about to release a new (best) album with some brand new songs. I'm happy that there will be included my beloved Love is a Bird

. I just love this song, but it's kinda underrated IMO.

I haven't listened to them for such a long time... I haven't really payed attention to them since Locks...
But I'm thinking about buying their best

They are disbanding in June, after their tour ends. One final relase, a BEST album titled 'The One ~All Singles Best~ will be released on May 22nd.
