I just wanted to ask why everyone is saying that all Ayu's live of Deares are so bad? I agree, I have seen many lives where she is off but for example at MUSIC FAIR21 02.24.2007 it's perfect and i prefer it to studio acoustic version!

i only think of dearest bad during the MC part of AT08....but still, crappy camera can't really capture the sound perfectly anyways

No way. I think she's perfect in Dearest if you refer to the TV lives. Over 70% of her TV music show appearances in 2001 was for Dearest and I think she did a great job in each one. Have you seen them all? She might have been off here and there but a majority were spot on. I haven't seen the most recent ones so I can't say anything about that. The acoustic is indeed beautiful though. Maybe she sounds better because her voice is a lot clearer and stronger to compensate for the lack of instrumentals. What I like even better is the acoustic version combined with the regular one though. THAT one is simply beautiful. Right after the first "taema naku aru you ni", and then the other instruments come in. It's great!

Ayu's dearest live is not that bad except for the one on heyX3 music champ last year. She sounded like she was shouting at the last chorus of the song.

I love when she sings Dearest. It's one of her best lives.

I think it makes sense that she sang it the best in 2001, when the single came out and she had MANY and I'm talking MANY television appearances for this song. A lot of practice and familiarity this song song. She had that song down pat by maybe the 5th or so appearance.

not all of them are bad, just most of them. and yeah she kind of butchered the song in her asia tour 08 one x_x

i dont know about 08 tour but previos DEAREST LIVES were REALLY REALLY AMAZING in my opinion!! her voice was awesome then

I don't know Dearest live will be bad. It never came up to my mind. I always watch the really great perf of Dearest.
