Moments and Free & Easy
I think there might already be a thread about this but I on't know.Is it just me or do Moments and Free & Easy not seem to fit in with MY STORY or RAINBOW.I like RAINBOW but Free & Easy doesn't seem like it fits in and the same thing with MY STORY with Moments.Does anyone else think this or am I just crazy?

ERrmmm...well I must say the Moments seem different compared to the other songs in My Story. As for Free and Easy..Well. =/ that one isn't on the album so i can't really say.

Well it's good to know I'm not crazy.I just always thought that Free & Easy fit I am... a bit better than RAINBOW and Moments fit Memorial address a bit better than MY STORY.

I definately agree with that. Whenever I see MOMENTS listed having anything to do with My Story (polls, track listings, etc) I'm always like "Oh yeah, I forgot that's on there" because it definately sounds like it should be on Memorial Address. Plus, it's been out for almost a year, and she's released 3 other PVs after that one.

"Free & Easy" feels really out of place on RAINBOW to me too. It has such a distinctive sound that I don't place it with any album, actually - it's like a little island all to itself.
I don't know about "Moments" fitting in or not, since I've never heard it. I stopped buying Ayu singles after H because of my budget (I don't have Memorial Address yet either ;_;), so we'll see, I guess. ^^

I like Free & Easy. I think it ranks up there with M as an emotionally-driven power ballad. It is out of place on RAINBOW, although I'm sure the intent was to include at least one of these types on the album to create some variety.
I think that both Moments and Carols should have gone on Memorial Address, and perhaps Inspire + Game (fits in with songs such as Ourselves and BoY), making MA a full album and toning down the overwhelming hard-rock vibe of My Story.

I agree that Moments sounds a little out of place, and that Free and Easy definitely sounds out of place. Here is a possible reason why though:
Both of those were the first singles off of their respective albums. It always seems like the 1st singles released at the begining of the year are the best ones, maybe because Ayu has more time to do them. I think that the bulk of each album though is recorded in the second half of the year that they are released in. With that much time between when the first single is recorded and when the rest of the album is recorded, it's very possible that the sound or vision that she has for the upcomming album has changed.

^I never said anything about Free & Easy on MY STORY,I don't think anyone did but I could have worded it weirdly
 .I ment both Free & Easy and Moments do not fit into the albums they are on.

to me.. if you think about it my story has all kinds of different songs like "game" or "about you" which are more rock type songs and then on the other side you have "walking proud" (which i think is sorta similar to moments beatwise) and "carols" which are much more of the pop genre.
but anyways, for me the intros for free & easy and moments before any singing started were similar first time i heard moments cuz i remember that i kept thinkin that free & easy was gonna play but it was actually moments cuz of the intro

I agree about Moments, but not Free & Easy. For me, it fits perfectly the Rainbow album...
But you're not crazy ^^ I think it's just a way to feel the songs in an album.

mmmm i mean... free n easy comes after real me in rainbow... i see why u think it doesnt fit.. coz the mood changes a lot from real me to free n easy... n it should have an interlude
 (as i think).. n moments... i dont have any comment.. coz i think its ok with moments.. but it would be better (for me) if moments is in the last song.... before winding road.. (n need an interlude... maybe  )
