Sadly, in some case, albums that sold so much didn't really has good music after all.
![]() Anyway though, I really appreciate Deli's essay. It changes my whole perception.

Deli stays true to herself and keeps on giving us the truth.
I agree and see the sense in everything you say, but I must say that a little bit of the magic about Ayu is the over sized extravaganza that she offers us wherever she walks. I wouldn't exactly mind, but I would be missing it. Of course it wouldn't make her music any less appealing. |

I think it's a grass is always greener thing... perhaps I'd get tired of the more intimate style performances in smaller venues (which ayu has said she's wanted to do more of ever since the UC Card Acoustic Live at the end of '00)... But lately i'm finding i enjoy the small acoustic performances better and better. All those huge spectacles get kind of tiring, and she keeps raising the bar for herself higher and higher, and soon even the biggest most amazing show will be disappointing, cuz there won't be a "wow!" factor anymore. The AT 2002 small acoustic set still "wow"s me, though.
Oh, and for the record, if she stopped doing CDL's I don't think I'd mind. They're never as good as the full tours, and doing it every year makes it less & less special. She should only do them every few years, I think. Besides, poor girl should have new years with a kiss from her boyfriend, spending time with friends, drinking champagne, all that.

No, I didn't see that! Jeez, how did I miss something that cool? Thanks!! ^__^
And I'd like to see a smaller, more intimate tour (or at least just one concert) for two reasons. One, she wants to do one last I heard, and Two, she'd do very well. Her voice has gotten better, last I heard she was learning the guitar, so she could be part of an acoustic set pretty well. I really think a smaller show would be great to see. The songs themselves might take a different direction if she started doing tours like this too; she has alot of songs that stand on their arrangement for power, but if she did more acoustic stuff she'd need more songs like "M" and "Dearest" that have power in their melodies.

Well maybe she is trying to keep it a "SECRET".
Not like it is a secret anymore though >_> |
