Do dancers wear earphones also?

I noticed Shuya was wearing one in his left ear during the CDL07-08 Fated performance, but I checked the A'nation Fated, he didn't wear any (at least not in his left ear). I tried checking the other dancers, but I can't seem to see any earphones, I think! So, I was wondering, do dancers actually wear those earphones as well? Or just for solo dancers?

...Oh man, I must've been watching the dancers TOO much lately. >_>

I think its probably ear protection and most if not all professional preformers know that loud music can be very bad for your hearing so I geuss they would use it.

a little bit of off-topic

I would like to mention the definiton of those earphones by my dear Darren Hayes, left in his blog several weeks ago... (months, indeed)

They are what I listen to the music with when I'm singing...
I saved this sentence because it has a difficult construction, but it's useful and i think we use it in our language in everyday life, so perhaps i will need it i english one day or another...

^ haha yea, I think so too. I think it both protects the singer's ears and plays the song they're singing to them.

On the note of the dancers, for the most part, I don't think they have any protective ear-thingys. I've never seen them with it, but I don't know for sure.
