I wouldn't say she gave up. I remember reading an article before My December was released saying that if her label let her release MD, she would do whatever album she wanted next time.

I'm just listening to My Life Would Suck Without You. Sounds promising and different compared to the songs on My December. I think I'm gonna love the new album. <3

Yes, I'm a Kelly Clarkson fan, rather new though because I began listening to her in 2007 when My December came out. I have always liked Kelly's music but something happened and fell in love with the songs. <3

The new song is pretty awesome! Honestly I prefer her style in Breakaway - it's mainstream but no ridiculously mainstream that it feels cheesy.

My December was so indie that I snored at some songs...

That's how I feel. Kudos to Kelly for sticking up for herself and all but there were some real sleep inducing songs on My December.

My December is my fav album of hers, followed by Breakaway, then Thankful. I love the new single, it sounds like a sequel to SUBG musically, and lyrically a total opposite as in this song shes saying she cant live without someone or her life would suck, whereas before she was like "Since u been gone, i can breathe for the first time" its kind of a 180 that i rather enjoy.

I like "My life..." but it's not omg-awesome for me just yet. It hasn't hit me the same way "Behind These Hazel Eyes," or "Since U Been Gone" did. Hopefully her album can do really well this year, and maybe another tour?

I'd definitely go see her live.

I really adore my december too. It has so many awesome songs like Irvine, Never Again, Don't Waste Your Time and Sober. Of course I got annoyed when Never Again was played over and over again in the radio, but when I became Kelly's fan, Never Again wasn't played anymore on the radio and I fell in love with it.

I haven't heard My Life yet, where can I listen to it? :3

Just downloaded "My Life Would Suck Without You" from iTunes - an OUTSTANDING song. I love it! Highly recommended!! Reminds me of the more "upbeat," if you will, Kelly on "Breakaway." Except in love instead of over it!
