Mika is one of the best-sellers from Sony. They are not dropping Mika, no way. Mika can go, but I haven't seen any troubles between them.
So why would she? Sony is probably offering Mika a fat cheque, cuz dropping her would be a retarded decision.

It's no rumor, and I posted this myself @ JPM XD. I read that on mixi back in june, they were talking about the end of her contract this year, and they were also making some theories about her leaving to avex.
It's a fact, her contract is ending this november, but I'm pretty sure they will renew it, like it had been done for the past few years.

Well, Mika has a blog in fact, only for her fanclub though, same for her staff.
She posts messages sometimes with pictures. (pics are most of the time from her staff blog)
She also read her official BBS and post messages time to time (especially for her birthday, every year since she debuted)

Her staff opened a blog in 2007 for YES MY JOY tour 2007. It closed right after the tour was over

It is true, though, Mika's contract with sony was renewed already (I believe it's every 3 albums, but I'm not sure)

The end of the contract is a FACT, it's normal.
Ppl talked about it only because of 2 rumors :
1) moving to avex
2) moving to another department of Sony Music (which is the most possible in Mika's case)

Mika debuted in november 2001, it's been 8 years since then. Her contract was renewed more than one time already. Why not once more?

It isn't, but I've heard people say that the Kanebo line that Mika was representing was targeted to a market of 18-25 years old.

And guess what? There's a new KATE commercial wit Mika. so yeah, just BS as usual.
