I know it sounds horrible, but it took his death for me to realize his talent... I started liking him after his death when my mother went on a two week Michael listening spree.

My favorite songs from him are Smooth Criminal, Remember the Time, Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough, Billie Jean & Thriller.

It's really a shame he's dead. He was the last living legend.

..Well, I would count Madonna as a living legend too, but yeeah.

It's so sad..his death..it's like..everyone tried to make a profit out of his death. It's really a shame.

I love him! He is a huge part of my whole family, uncles and aunts included. We are all fans. He was really popular when my mom and her siblings were growing up, so he is like the one singer that they all love, and it was passed down to me! When he died we were gathered in my living room to watch the funeral.

His music is okay. I do really like a few songs. (I love~ Billie Jean, actually.)
But really, I just have to say that I really, really respected him as an artist. Amazing dancer, great singer, wonderful stage presence... As a musician and entertainer, he really had it all.

I just came back from seeing This Is It...I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. I was just a little too young to have his music be a part of my childhood, but I'm growing to appreciate it now. The footage of him from these rehearsals was amazing...the way he moved and sang totally floored me. He was far too young to die, and was such an amazingly talented musician. But he will always, always be the King of Pop!

I really like him. I won't say I'm a "fan", but he's definitely one of my favorite singers ^^, I must say, I did only begin to listen much to his music after his death, 'cause it was only then he did get up again on TV, and I did only get y eyes up for him then..

But his death annoys me.. A year ago, Michael Jackson was a sick, pedophile, weird old man.. Hes music was okay, nothing special.. now he's GOD, he's AMAZING, hes death was such a TRAGEDY.. and hes music is THE BEST EVER OMG OMG OMG! Gosh..

Yeah, that thing of everyone loving him so suddenly annoys me too... I remember when I was hated here by saying he wasn't a phedophile and now everyone cry over his death and buy CD's and ridiculous merchandise like crazy... Even sister LaToya, now tributing him everywhere, was the one declaring him a pedophile back in the 90's

And, by the way, the "This is it" movie is a desperate attempt to profit even more with MJ... I mean, some of the shots are proved to be filmed after his death with body doubles

Having just seen the film myself, I can tell you that's absolute bull. And what about it was a desperate attempt to make a profit? 90% of the proceeds are to his estate, which means his children will get it. I think it was a wonderful thing to do, and it probably means a lot to the fans who were going to see him in London but never got the chance to-- it really would have been a fantastic show.

Well... the fact the film was practically conceived, edited and released in 4 months time is a proof that producers were trying to premiere it before the "world phenomenom" surrounding MJ's death ended, so they could get everyone to watch it, even though many fans & Jackson family opposed to this kind of exposure... the remaining 10% of the profits would still be an impressive sum of at least 40 million USD

Yet, I know what you mean, I was one of those fans with tickets for the London shows (January 27) and being able to see part of the spectacle last night was an emotive experience for me as well, though it was possibly heavy-edited and people from the productions have stated that some of the numbers were not even completely choreographed and staged by MJ's death, so some of the shots were filmed AFTER the tragedy, making the movie more visually appealing... and fake

XD! I'm sorry, but this made me laugh.. Don't you think they have enough money? XD

Anyways.. I think, that the movie was made to get money, but even if it is, fans go to see it.. I don't see anything bad in that..

And about LaToya.. I think she said he was pedophile, so she could get attention herself..
