Dir en Grey are among the few artists that I trust to put out amazing material. I have no doubt that the notice tells the truth, and that the album that follows will surpass the previous two, or at least be on the same artistic and technical level. Very excited about this release, though it's a bit soon to tell us.

Dir en grey will forever be amazing \o/ Hands down, end of.

I also can't understand people who prefer Vulgar and things before it D: tbqh that's their weakest stuff.

I think (hope) they could only improve after the mess that was DSS. I heard their last tour wasn't that successful. If it was because of DSS's quality then I hope they learned their lesson.

Gauze - Zan
Macabre - none
Kisou - embryo
Vulgar - IIID empire
Withering to death. - Kodou
The Marrow of a Bone - Grief
Uroboros - ware, yami tote
Dum Spiro Spero - Amon (the only song I could stand)

Yeah maybe. It was the first tour since 2005 that I didn't attend since I HATED DSS, and then the ***** finally played the ONE song I was waiting to hear live. The last tour with Apocalyptica wasn't that great either to be honest (and I attended that).

I haven't seen them since 2008. I had no idea it was even that long ago. They stopped having tour dates in Michigan and I can't be bothered to go anywhere else. I dunno, probably wouldn't care to hear them play their new stuff anyways.

Back then they seemed to have so much fun on stage. But now they always look like as if they are bored as hell.

I think they were at their worst live around Withering to death, or at least Kyo was. I remember watching the videos when they first went to Europe and Kyo would just stand around on stage and not even sing half the song.

Yeah he did eat half the words to the songs, but Withering to Death and Marrow of the bone era were the best shows Ive attended for them too.

I'm scared for the re-makes. Kasumi, Karasu, Botdv, and The Final are some of their best songs, imo. Let's see if they deliver!
