I have no idea if the kindle fire is popular in japan but amazon.jp is, so to see ayu every time someone goes to their front page is really good exposure. Too bad they couldn't switch the image to again's cover or smth starting in December

why are you trying to insinuate that it isn't good promo amazon is the most popular online site for general goods in japan behind rakuten. it doesn't matter if they don't like the kindle they're seeing her face.

i can't tell you who's on the cover of the latest vogue magazine but that means nothing cause at the end of the day it's GOOD PROMO.

you're embarrassing yourself yet again. regular amazon users in japan (aka a lot of people) and regular net users in general will check out the kindle based on curiosity alone, by just seeing the ad. amazon spent tons on promo for the kindle to compete with the ipad and other e-book compatible products.

since amazon and e-books are used by people of all ages and the website can be accessed 24/7 that makes it much better than say, performances on a tv show which only lasts for like 3 minutes, magazine covers like vivi, jelly, beas up etc. those music shows/magazine customer reach is no where near the level of a global shopping website.....


and what are you even saying about vogue. vogue is the most reputable and popular fashion magazine in the world. i don't know who's on the cover cause i'm not apart of their target audience. so me not knowing clearly invalidates their reputation and makes the promo horrible?
