Random Ayu sightings!

Have you been in an odd or unexpected place where you suddenly saw Ayu? How about Ikea? I was walking around looking at the showrooms (becasue I looooove Ikea) and there was this computer with a fake screen, and someone made a Ayu screen And on the post-board on the wall there were pictures of Ayu covering it too! I was quite unexpected. My boyfriend noticed it first, and he's like "Hey Cory, there's Hama Hamasaki"

OMG. That is hilarious and so fortunate of you! I have never seen Ayu anywhere else but online. BUT I had a dream I was at the supermarket with my family and then all of a sudden the supermarket music changes to something familiar, and then I freak 'cause it was A Song for XX!!!! And I grab my sister's arm and tell her, "they're playing it! they're playing ayu!!!"

it was disappointing when i woke up because i realized it was just a dream....

Asian sororities will randomly use Ayumi's pictures on their flyers but other than that, I haven't seen any Ayumi goods in out of the ordinary places.

I ever see ayu poster in a music store, when I see it, I really want to ask the cashier "can I bring it home?", the cashier said it's for a bonus, so I buy "MY STORY" and got it. I ever saw "ourselves" video in a cafe.. and I ever heard "Moments" in a Japanese stuffs shop in my city..

My friend once told me that she saw an Ayu pin in an accessories shop. At first I couldn't believe her and assumed that she must have mistook her for someone else. But later I went there and saw it myself! It was really Ayu! It was the cover of Boys & Girls. That was the one and only Ayu merchandise I bought from my country

Sadly no.. I don't live anyplace far cool enough for anthing Ayu.. .. well I did see Ayu CD's in that music/book shop in Uwajimaya.. but that's in Seattle (across state from me..).. and that's only because they sell that type of stuff there (.. Uwajimaya was the only reason I went to Seattle that visit.. I needed a Japanese snack fix..)

Funny you mention that! I was in LA when she was shooting INSPIRE, but I wasn't in that part of L.A., my brothers were. They were like "we saw this movie being shot," but I didn't think nothing of it. Then I heard INSPIRE was shot in L.A. & when I bought the single my brother was like "That was what we saw them filming! If I was with my brothers I would have seen the making of INSPIRE!

This girl on wfl forums said that her mom once massaged Ayu & her body guards in Hawaii. She gave her mom the single "Seasons" which was the single released then. It wasn't until she was older that she became a fan and wished she could've met Ayu. Well...at least her mom did!

Dearest, Voyage and Dolls have been played in the stupid anime store that sells J-pop bootlegs. I saw their nice photocopied-so-fake-looking-to-a-wise-J-pop-buyer-bootleg copies of 'A BALLADS' they must have been playing those songs off of...*grumpy*

In Singapore here, it is not shocking or rare to see Ayu sightings heh. My Japanese teacher uses Ayu and Hideaki Takizawa pics to teach us Japanese conversations.

The Ayu-mi-x III (NSMM Ver) cover used in a poster on the streets for a nightclub. (Probably some Asian nightclub)

Outside some Asian/Japanese hair salon. They had the poster of RAINBOW the album plastered on the window. Now THAT would be a spiffy hairstyle.
