I'm stunned by the simplicity in Wings. Its just simply beautiful and relaxing. So little yet so perfect. It isn't exactly little, but it gives the illusion of simplicity without being simple. The melodies are complicated, and I think there is certainly many instruments used in the song.

Keep Tryin' = Startin'

I couldn't pick between those if I wanted too.

WINGS > Born To Be...

I think WINGS is really awsome because its so mellow. It might have been very simple but like MC its beautiful and relaxing. Most of Hikki's songs like to toy with your emotions so this is a nice treat.

I guess it's because there's layers? I don't know. Personally, I love Keep Tryin', but I didn't like Passion very much.

I hope that all the singles from Dareka are on the album. I doubt that COLORS will be, but I have her single collection, so that's alright, at least for me anyways.

No...because it sounds like a really bad b-side. It doesn't even sound like she's using a real piano -- it sounds like it's a synth. Actually, come to think about it, most of the instruments in the song sound synthesized. The melody is ugly. The chorus is SUPER annoying. Born to be...at least it makes me feel like I'm in Torino--right in the middle of the action. That song makes me smile. WINGS makes me cringe. I don't like it all. She had better songs than WINGS on EXODUS. It might've sounded better if it was done unplugged, but otherwise, it sounds very FAKE. Even though Startin' and Born to be...are synthesized too, I like the distinct rock feel of Startin' and the Taiko of Born to be... Born to be...sounds more real/live than WINGS.

I do have to agree with you when it comes to judging Keep Tryin' and Startin' only because they are very different from one another and I like them a lot.

However, I like Born To Be a lot more than WINGS. WINGS just seems to be there to emphasize how much better Keep Tryin' is as the A side.

Startin' sounds very done to death though. Its the stuff you'd expect Britney to release and become queen again, excpet stupid Britney doesn't release it and makes something rubbishier like Do Somethin.
