Happy belated birthday then!

Since I'm here, a quick update:

- Single release titled "Kono Yo no Kagiri" (The Limits of This World) scheduled for 2007.01.17 release
- Yet-unnamed album release scheduled for 2007.02.21. Supposedly an album inspired from the Sakuran movie Ringo is acting in.
- Yet-unnamed DVD release scheduled for 2007.02.21.

Ringo's 4th album will be titled: "Heisei Fuzoku", which means "Heisei Sex Service", if I'm not mistaken.

The first press/limited edition will contain three stickers, a coaster, and will be packaged in a cross-shaped digipack.

Shiina Ringo’s fourth solo album’s title has been announced. It will be called 平成風俗 (Heisei Fuzoku). Heisei is the current era name in Japan. Fuzoku means manners, customs or sex service. Usually, the name implies prostitution or acts of that regard. Judging by the nature of Sakuran, I think it would be fair to say that the album’s title translation would be “Heisei Sex Service”.

There will be two versions of this album. The regular edition will cost 3,059 yen. The limited edition will cost 3,400 yen, and will include a cross-shaped special digipak, three stickers and a coaster. You better pre-order fast if you want those bonuses.

The credits of the album says that ‘Saito Neko’ has made a big contribution to the album. He was the violinist featured on the Baishou Ecstasy and ADULTS ONLY concerts. As well, he worked on Meisai, la salle de bain, Yume no Ato, Torikoshi Kurou and Sid to Hakuchumu. He also is featured on Shiina Ringo’s upcoming single, “Kono Yo no Kagiri”. Considering the nature of those songs, this album looks like it will be another musical feast from Shiina yet again.

Ringo ALWAYS has raunchy titles though.

I sure hope it's going to be a musical feast like the article has said, since this is sort of a comeback for her. Definitely going to pre-order this.

Someone at Utada-online pointed out that there are five samples on Ringo's website (here second update on the site) from the new album. She redid the vocals for Gamble so I assume all the songs got some kind of vocal update. I assumed she would do something like that because Ringo is really good about not ripping off fans. I'm excited for this new album (even if it's her old songs, there are still new ones). Oiran is my favorite song of all the samples.

Overall I'm glad I saved my money and didn't buy Olivia's new album. I think this Ringo's new release is going to be more worth my time.
