The Official Ciara Thread

In 2004, she(?) was keeping her(?) Goodies in the jar, and teaching us to 1, 2 Step. Also among her(?) roster were the crunk ballad (?!) Oh and the... ballad that should not have been, And I.

Bestowed with the dubious honor of being the Prince(ss) of Crunk&B (a mixture of crunk and R&B music), Ciara's returned in 2006 with The Evolution and lead single, sexy, steamy bedroom ballad Promise.

Known for her(?) skilled dance moves and catchy singles, Ciara's made a nice-sized impact on the music world, and is one girl(?) to watch for in coming years (I guess?).

So let's discuss her(?) as we wish - for better or for worse. The Evolution has leaked (I'm listening to it now, I'm up to Promise - pretty good so far, but Goodies started out good too and fizzled out after Oh, so...), so find it if you wish, pull up a chair, and chat about Miss(?) Ciara Harris and her(?) music.

That song promise is annoying. I love Goodies, 1 2 step and get up. Those songs rock. Her debut album was also good. hotline is a pretty good party song. I dunno about her other album cause I haven`t listened to it.

I've heard a majority of her latest album through MSN and...I only like "That's Right", although the second song is good too. (I have That's Right and 1, 2 Step on my MP3 Player) I think she has a lot of potential, but her albums get too generic to keep my interest. Kind of like...2 really hot songs and then everything else is bleh.

Yeah, the album was kind of a rollercoaster ride. And I'm not talking about the Superman. One of those old wooden rollercoasters. But I do find it to be a decent album. "Promise", "Get Up", "Like A Boy", "I Found Myself" (though it reminds me of at least three different songs that I can't quite name), "That's Right" and "So Hard" have major replay value. She's definitely growing.
