I think Akurei was going by the assumption that most people do that anyway, but Ayu is a professonal person by nature so she feels she doesn't want that portrayed in her image. (=P)

And yes, most Japanese are well aware of the English vulgarities that they are wearing. But that's the beauty of different cultures: here it's just OMG and over there they don't care, they just think it's cool. Because that stuff isn't offensive to them.
