I see a lot of people calling Ayu and Brit products and all and even though the music industry markets them as such, I don't think of them that way. Products are things that sit on shelves and collect dust until someone goes to buy them (for example, an Ayu or Brit CD), but the ladies themselves are people.
And it's hard for me to separate who they are from their music. If I don't like you, I'm not listening to you, no matter how catchy your music is. This is pretty much the biggest reason I stayed away from Britney in the past (along with other personal reasons), it is only until she recently got herself back together that I decided to give her music a try.
As I said before, I prefer Ayu, because I love Ayu... and I don't mean the music. Sure I've never met her, but the persona she gives off is far more attractive to me than Brit's. I also think they are both music artists because according to the definition they both fall under that category. I just appreciate Ayu's artistry much much much more.
