Any DJ's out there willing to give some tips?

Hi! I just graduated from high school and found that I really dont have much going on in my life any more....so I want to take up DJing as a hobby.....Dont worry...I didnt spend oodles of money on expensive DJing equipment....I want to learn the basics first so I got Virtual DJ....any tips? Anything is appreciated
