She joined Cube Entertainment as a trainee in 2006, and was initially a member of popular band 4minute. Many people were wondering why she wasn't in 4minute, and in 2009, it was announced that G.NA would make her debut sometime in the future. She made her debut with Cube Entertainment on the 5th July 2010 with a duet with popular singer 비 (Rain). Her debut minialbum, ''Draw G's First Breath'' was released on the 14th July 2010. The main single is the popular song ''꺼져 줄게 잘 살아'' with features BEAST's charismatic rapper Yong Jun Hyung.
