Best period in GACKT's career?
I hope the way I organized this is okay.
As for my choices, I believe GACKT was at his peak at the beginning of his career. I adore his work on merveilles, mainly for the variety, and creativity. Musically-wise, MARS has always been my favourite, as well as the single seki-ray, which in my book is the best song he's ever put out. Every year there's one song of his that captures my attention like no other, Fragrance in 2002, Birdcage in 2003, LONGING in 2006, the underrated No ni Saku Hana no Yō ni in 2007, LOST ANGELS in 2009, but when I listen to their respective albums, I see something that makes me think "this album would feel complete without that song". Vocally-wise, I think The Sixth Day & Seventh Night tour performances are some of his strongest. What are your thoughts?
