An article on local newspaper Lian He Wan Bao 14/3/11
![]() Here's an article from my local (Singapore) newspaper. I've read about it an was abnit unhappy about some of the things mentioned in it. The newspaper quoted (HK news) so if anyone from Hongkong can verified anything, soure or whatever would be nice. Rough translation of the article : Netizen curse ayumi as "Hypocritical", ayu sent a total message of 143 notes on message board! After the earthquake, local (japan) artist kept twitting non-stop. However, ayu was accused of trying to do promotion(attract attention)! Jpop queen ayumi sent a total of 143 notes on twitter during the last 14 hour since yesterday, an average of 1 msg per 6 mins, msg was mostly words of encouragement, asking ppl not to panic, save electricity, asking fans to donate to red cross society to help the victims and only went offline till 5am. To ayu's 1 day madness messages, netizen hold a suspicion and think she's "Hypocritical". As her new compilation album, ayu-mi-x 7 is being schedule to release later this month 30th, netizen blame her for trying to use the earthquake as a promotion! They even accused her of only asking ppl to donate money while she herself didnt donate a single cent. With assets of more than 10million HKD and not donating, accuse her of being stingy. Ayu refute :" Being a Japan singer (I) will definately do something for my country, even if donation is being made, there's no need to go around and annouce it." Spokesman from recording company explain that it's only a coincidence of the album release date. --- end ![]()
