Ayumi Hamasaki is in my opinion the best lyricist. Why? Eh, yeah. You can probably figure that out for yourself. I was not happy with the lyrics of Party Queen because it was for her doing something very... not her, let's say that. But I shall learn to live with it. But, yeah... she hasn't been that strong anymore than in her early years. At least her voice improved a lot. Anyway, now I am sounding like I despite everything she does. No. There is always at least three songs I can personally identify with. Still she is my queen of pop. And lyrics.

I think that Anna Tsuchiya is a strong lyricist as well. Especially Kuroi Namida is a beautiful song and so she has plenty of them. And alan on the third place with her beautiful touching voice and tender way of bringing the message in her songs to her fans.

Worst? Well, I prefer to use the word 'bad.' I am sorry, I like her a lot but her lyrics are certainly nothing special, Namie Amuro and I also do think that the lyrics of korean band 2NE1 are flat as well.
