Ayu's "Dearest"...

Dearest was totally different from the other previous songs.From the interview, we get to know what was the feeling Ayu had put into this song.

R : Dearest was the first song that you had produced together with DAI.Why did you think of working with them?
A : DAI came to my concert when I was performing at Osaka Dome and it was at that time I found out that we have common friends in Osaka.So we went out and enjoyed ourselves for 4 days and later we had an discussion of working together for my next single.

R : What was your feeling of working together?
A : I experienced a long-time-never-had-this-happy-feeling.

R : A long time never had?
A : When I started to compose the tune for M and evolution,I expected I could enjoy the feeling of happiness during the making of the music but because of having the stress of can't completing the tunes,I lost the feeling gradually during the production of not having the time to enjoy the process throughly.But this time I got the enjoyable feeling of making the music at my own pace..I was really happy!

R : Is it because of having such feeling thus this song had a warmth feel in it?
A : Actually before composing this song my heart was experiencing a cold like winter storm feeling,but after that I got this determination of having to melt this feeling,therefore I thought of putting in some warmth feeling when I was penning the lyrics.Even when I came to the vocal part,I thought of putting in some warmth feeling into it.

R : So when thinking of this title for the song is also because of this situation?
A : Actually the title can have a lot of meaning,but on the whole it express the "highest level" meaning.It would be better if I say I've achieved at the highest level rather than the person I love most.

R : So it means your definition does not only mean people but can also meant for other things?
A : Yes,it's not like what people had think "to give for someone".In the lyrics there are 2 phrases "should love for something" and "should get for something" are the same of not what I want people to get mistaken about! Compared to love within a deep love,what you experience is not only love,but it's a noble love between people,therefore it's not an embarassing thing!

R : I heard that this MTV was filmed in LA. Did you enjoy yourself?
A : The MTV was not filmed within 1 day and I slept for only 2 hours each day.Thus under the stress of worrying plus lack of sleep,I still managed to complete everything. (laughs)

R : Finally would you like to tell our readers your plans at the end of the year?
A : A countdown concert is confirmed to be held at the end of the year,if you have the time do come and join in!
