i wanna put together ayumi's interesting big achievements together because it's quite interesting, here are some of ayu's achievements, and please help me correct my mistakes if i have any! my english is quite bad
![]() ![]() ![]() In March 2000 Ayumi became the first artist to have 4 albums in the top 10 at the same time (Ayu-mi-x II US+EU no.2, Ayu-mi-x II Acoustic Orchestra no.3, Ayu-mi-x II JPN no.6 and SUPER EUROBEAT present Ayu-ro mix no.10). Ayu’s record sales account used to make up 42.6% of Avex’s Overall revenues, which also makes her largely responsible for its Japan leading 14.% market share. When Ayumi began appearing in ads for cosmetic maker “Kose”, Kose report that sales increased drastically since Ayu started endorsing them its mascara went from no.4 to no.1 within 2 months and a new lip gloss sold 500,000 units in its first 2 days on the shelves. Ayumi has sold more records than any other musical act for 2 years running in the world’s second largest music market. Ayumi’s “}{“ single was the only single that sold over a million in the year 2002. Ayu made history by being the first to win the Japan Record Grand Prix award 3 times consecutively: (based on merit not sales) 2001 for "Dearest" 2002 for "Voyage" 2003 for "No way to say" First Japanese to have a wax figured made in Hong Kong at Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong.
